How can a man fear death when he doesn't desire life? Rather, fear what comes after death.

All these fears are true. Alhamdulillah I understood death and what it means in Islam and immediately my thought process changed and I am now on a straighter path in Islam. What is death? Who control death? What is the use of fearing this world and the opressors here when eternity is the true life we will live
Anything i fear and ask refuge from Allah for that fear it comes right in front of me a few days later... I was thinking why is this happening. maybe Allah doesn't love me or maybe Allah doesn't hear me or maybe I am not asking him properly or maybe he hasn't forgiven my past sins etc and today i saw this video on my timeline and i realised that my tawakkul is weak. I make dua but i don't trust him as much as i should. I do dhikr i pray extra nafl but i am still in constant fear. inshaAllah i will work on my imaan and inshaAllah everything will be fine ❤

maybe he wants you to overcome this fear and that's why he send it your way. Let me give you an example. I had a lot of anxiety of speaking english due to my stuttering. I couldn't even talk english in class really due to that. Since i finished high school I had a LOT of situations where I had to speak english. My first job was on english with everyday meetings, some of my best friends can only speak english with me and many many other things. Thing is, nowadays I don't even have that amount of anxiety anymore even when speaking english publicly in front of tens or hundreds of people I don't know. I still stutter, less than before, but I do enough that everyone notices. It's like being afraid of swimming but your coach throws you into the pool each and every time. You gotta learn to swim, why not now if Allah almighty is sending you the chance to overcome your fear by facing it?
On the day of Judgement Allah will ask

Marriage is only other test in Islam and it is really important. Hey! I thought just like you! Like EXACTLY like you. But all you have to do is Dua. You can do it, you never know if Al-lah has a person that respects personal space reserved for you. A muslim couple is a team! Not enemies
the person you would be living with would be like family just like you lived with your family you are creating a new family with that person you are living with, and as such it should be someone that you can trust and that fears Allah.

Brothers, help me on this one. For a year I have been afraid of death because i used to sin a lot and would not pray and because of that, I feared that Allah that there is no way Allah would grant me jannah so I stop praying and doing all good deeds. Now for a month, thanks to Allah for giving me hadayat I have started praying and kind of have gotten control over my sins (I am getting better day by day) but now I am afraid if the sins I commited were so much that I won't be granted jannah and so I fear death to this day that maybe if I died today I wont be granted jannah. I don't know what to do please help (sorry for bad English)

I used to be in the same position as you. Sinned a lot and didn’t take life seriously. When my father passed away 5 years ago everything changed. I understood this is dunya and I was so afraid to stand in front of Allah swt with all those sins on my back. I startet praying, making dua for ease, for forgiveness. I started reading about Allahs swt mercy (which I highly recommend). Allahs swt mercy is mich bigger than a mother’s. And only he knows what’s in your heart.
There are plenty Hadiths that talk about people who repented for the very first time seconds before their death, and Allah swt forgave even them.
Pray every prayer and make every dua as if their your last and pour your heart out to your creator. InshaAllah you will find peace, Ameen.
I have a weird situation. In school my teacher did a palm reading on me, and now many years later when my iman grew, i started getting waswasa about the readings again and now i cant get it out of my head. Now im having severe anxiety about death and the reason i cant forget about it is because Allah doesnt forgive shirk after death. I dont want to commit it intentionally or even on accident, i dont even want to risk it. I have no idea what to do, im having a hard time calming myself down

Bro there are bot websites online that tell you your horoscope which is just a very vague and general information that may happen to be true but they’ll tell you in such a way that makes you feel like that man saw what was written on your book, it’s all just a trick. What you have to do next is forget about it because it’s just guesses and speculations that happen to be true. Find a coin and toss it, once you toss it often you’ll be able to predict which face it will land on after considering the strength you used, how high it went, how much it spun, etc. it’s all the same so relief yourself of such unnecessary worry.
Learn more about Islam, it helped me a lot Alhamdulillah. Knowledge gets rid of fear. Also read Quran, Pray nawafil, give sadaqah. Pray fard at masjid more. Brother if you do this and die upon Islam what are you afraid of? That's the best way to go.

O Allah, I take refuge in You lest I should commit shirk with You knowingly and I seek Your forgiveness for what I do unknowingly.

“The thing I fear most for you is minor shirk”.

“Shirk among you is more subtle than the sound of the footsteps of an ant on a rock, shall I not tell you of something which, if you do it, this Dua it will take that away from you both minor and major forms of it”.

No. You can never not fast unless you are ill, traveling difficult lengths, pregnant, too old, on period/menses. And some of those people still have to do fidyah or makeup.
