How to run tablet or smartphone without battery

- Battery on this tablet is at the end so i want to find the way to power this tablet without battery,solution is very simple and it works as you can see on video,battery bank need to be at least 5 A or power supply with output of 5 V and 2 A,now i don`t need to buy new battery,and if you want to take tablet outside you can use battery bank,thnx for watching,subscribe for more videos

I used this information to turn an old tablet into a multimedia center in my car. I was worried that the original battery might overheat on the panel because of the sun.
So I used your procedure and connected the tablet with a powerbank located in the glove compartment.

Thank you Mladen,i've been trying to figure out a way to do this to see if my charging port was bad. I bought the tablet not working with noted it had a bad charging port. So I replaced the port and still nothing,so I investigated further and found that the charging port was never the issue,the battery was. Thank you ,I wish I would have came across this video sooner !!!!!!

Nice job! The circuit board on the battery 'might' be a surge protector, based on a description in another video.

If your tablet has a BMS onto it, solder a capacitor instead of the lithium cell and connect the power cord to the capacitor poles

I tried it and it works. But i realized that of the usb port provides power i have the battery chip conect but it just powers off. You know why it powers off or how we can hack the usb port so we dont have to solder or conect wires ams just use it directly? Im trying to find online what block the power from the usb to the phone if the chip is conected.

4v across the positive and negative then 10k resistor across the negative and 3rd terminal (its just a temp sensor for the battery, resistor just mimics the safe reading)

What if someone connect USB drives through OTG then had power using tablet? does this still capable to keep Tablet running and powering OTG devices..?

Mark it positive and negative and before you solder power supply check poles and you cant make mistake,always mark positive and negative before remove battery
so your tablet battery 5v? my tablet battery 3.7v 6000mah..so how to give 3.7v?
Try to remove battery and connect power adapter 5V and it has to work,i still use it without battery

Hi, could you help me with the following situation: I have been looking for a solution like this for my tablet, due to the battery of the device started to expand, so I took it out, then I found this video with the same problem, and I tried to fix the tablet. Now, the tablet does run, it boots up when i try to connect it to micro usb, which i need for usb hub, but it does not respond to the charger that i connected it to.Could it be a problem of turning the circuit board backwards?

Hi,mine still works today,as i said in video you have to mark positive and negative terminal,important is also power of charger you use,also each tablet is different so i can't know how that will react on this solution,battery store great amount of power so when you chose power adapter it has to be at least 3A
Do I have to worry about the temperature of the battery chip, because I did notice big heat on it? And I used 2 Amper charger.
I did not notice any heating on mine,but i think it is nothing to worry about

I am still using it and it works,it is up to you will you use it or not,this my tablet is very old,new battery will cost more than tablet is worth,i am using it for watching youtube videos

I do the mod and android goes to low batery and shutdown the tablet, please can you tell mi how you hack android to allways see batery full
Battery indicator is always full when you remove battery and power the tablet with power adapter,it works by me
In developer settings there's a way to turn off the battery reader, forgot what it was called sry
Power adapter need to be at least 5v 2A
You need to find the right volatge you may need more power. You cant just add any power you wish it requires a vertain amount that depends on device. I suggest go higher amd higher in little bits if you go to high youll burn or destroy mother board.
sir mine it didnt work.. i soldered the neg & pos wire of the charger to the pcb of the batt then plug the connector to where it was attached to the tablet board. Did i do it right?
some tablets need a capacitor to make it work. just connect a capasitor where the battery should be. and it will work
does this work on IOS devices cuz my phone just died and not chraging
I only use android devices so i don't know about that,i think every device have to work,try to buy new battery first if battery is to expensive than try to fix to work without battery

By me it works,open tab remove battery,use power adapter 5V 2A and connect on same terminal where battery was,i did the same with my cellphone,still works without problem
