Nice haul! Love vintage.
Thx.
Thank you!
Nice collection pickups. Have a great vacation.
Thanks S W!
$250 is a good price. The '58 Aaron AS in that condition is going for close to a hundred on ebay auctions. Very nice McCoveys. Joe Garagiola is a Hall of Fame announcer. Fun fact - he and Yogi grew up together on the same block in St. Louis. Jerry Coleman is also a HoF announcer - voice of the Padres for many years, much beloved. George Armstrong - he's a hockey HoF.
Thank you. Really informative!
Nice collection of some of the greats!
Enjoy your vacation Sammy! See ya when you get back.
Thanks Jake!
Awesome collection purchase. Enjoyed. Enjoy your vacation
Thank you Scott!
Hey Sammy, love those Nolan Ryan cards. Thank you for the video.
Thanks Jim!
Nice pickups! The Koufax, Yaz, Banks are some of my favorites. The rookies were excellent cards. You got a good deal.
Appreciate it man. Thank you
Nice pickups Sammy
Thanks Nick!
The 1970 and 71 high numbers start in the 600s, none in the 500s. Joe Garagiola became a famous NBC baseball announcer in the 70s and 80s. He was a great broadcaster. He also grew up in the same neighborhood in St. Louis as Yogi Berra. He once famously said "not only was I not the best catcher in the Major Leagues, I wasn't even the best catcher on my street!"
Hilarious!
Looks like a great deal!
Thanks Mike.
that was a GREAT deal/trade.. those goudeys in poor condition typically sell for $20, those look way better than poor + cash, you did good, id trade that all day.
Thanks Mikey. I'm probably going to hold onto them for now.
Sweet cards
Thank you
Another great one🎉
Thank you!
Your going to have to show off the entire t206 collection sometime maybe a table top. Great group of goudey cards. Great collection purchase. What's the plan on that 58 Banks? Have a safe trip my friend.
Absolutely! I'll have to figure out a way to make it work on the tabletop. I've surpassed the first page. Granted, a bunch of my HOF's are graded, but the binder is making headway.
Kick ass pick-ups... way to slay it!
Thanks man.
I woulda absolutely bought those ‘33 Goudeys for my set for sure!
Thanks Jake. They’re really cool. I will probably resell three of them. I’ll let you know if you’re interested
Just let me know, always in for a deal on something I need 🤪
I need to get me a cpl polar bears in my t206 collection
They're out there!
Awesome pickups. Great Aaron allstar card
Thanks Lee!
good stuff Sammy ⚡
Thank you!
Ed Westfall was on the Stanley Cup winning NY Islanders of the late 70’s early 80’s, and then became an announcer for them.
Very cool! That's a cool fact to know!
@@SammyThunder he was actually the Isles first captain, but he retired after the 1979 playoffs and joined their broadcast booth. He didn’t win any of the Isles 4 cups but won 2 cups with the Bruins.
Let's GO!!!!!! Cool Video Sammy
Thanks Maiden!
Think you did great Sammy, I know I would be excited to grab those cards for $250!
Thanks so much VOV!
Great find. Love the Koufax, Aaron, and Banks.
Thank you!
Very nice Sammy! Made out great with this collection. A little bit of everything. Congrats on this amazing find, I'd be super stoked over this! 👍
Thanks Sammy. Definitely pleased!
Elston Howard and Jackie Jensen reminded me of that old show home run derby in the late 50's. All you were missing was Rocky Colovito! You have some really cool pre-war cards - they are works of art.
I loved watching that show.
Some great pick ups Sammy! Always love the prewar cards...The shows are working out for you..keep up the great work!
Thanks Dirk!
Great purchase Sammy..You got a super deal on those vintage cards.. That Koufax, Banks and Aaron say it all..
Thanks so much!
r u selling march 26 in milford?
Not this month. I’ll post my schedule for April though soon.
Very nice pickups. Love the Goudey and T206 cards
Thank you!
There are so many junk wax cards that I can literally wall paper my entire house with them and there still will be too many!
What years do you consider junk wax?
1987-1992
I think the majority I had was vintage, but I’m happy to lend you any Topps 88 or Fleer 91 to get the ball rolling on your wallpaper 😂
Nice haul there. I think you paid a fair price for the baseball group alone. The hockey should be gravy even if all of them are just a couple of bucks each
The hockey cards are definitely cool looking.
Great pick ups Sammy! I know absolutely zero about hockey so I can't help you out with those lol. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Demo. I'm not a hockey guy either. They're cool looking lol
@@SammyThunder They really are cool looking and a lot of people collect hockey so I am sure you will have no problems moving them.

When I purchase vintage sports cards on line,I expect to get vintage and not heritage. I think those cards are a joke
I’m not sure what you mean.
All the 1969 and 1970 cards I ordered in a box of 500 vintage/modern cards had pics of todays players rather than those of that era. If Topps used the biggest stars on the vintage backgrounds, then the cards wouldve had some value
Awesome cards. His name is pronounced Red Shane deenst. FYI
Thanks. I’ll remember that going forward
