Awesome pick up's mate👍 I love watching the Poltergeist movies back to back, lol. I have seen The Attic Expeditions when it come out. By memory it was good lol.Steven kings version of the shinning is so bad it's good hahah.I think we all had a copy of that Hollywood true crime vhs in our collection back in the day ahhhhh the memories 😂 I do remember Manhunter vaguely i had some of them on vhs😢
@@DeonCrawley Appreciate that legend Where does this poltergeist fall in the sequels? Well I was reading up on the shining a bit after the video, noticed it’s actually a mini series. But I’m in the mood for some so bad it’s good 😂 oh really that’s so interesting, I’ll have to check the documentary out soon. Thanks for watching :)
Shot for shot still means the actors gotta be good enough to convey the same epicness of the original. Also Hannibal tv series was mint. Got me cooking to classical music!
YES!! I absolutely LOVE anything Horror and True Crime & I love Vince Vaughn, I didn’t know Psycho (1998) got that much hate.. I must have selective hearing lol!! AW MAN! I completely and wholeheartedly understand why you’re pissed about the VHS Case, I get pissed when I order DVDs and I hear the disc moving inside. It hurt my heart when I saw the case, I hope you get a replacement, a refund or something at least. & I never Stephen Kind made his own ‘The Shining’, I knew he hated what Stanley Kubrick made but I will definitely need to see Stephen’s version. & aww You didn’t F up, I stutter and make mistakes too.. it’s what makes the video unique, in my opinion.
It was a very critiqued remake. Although a lot of early horror remakes seemed to get slammed. I guess people just don’t want to let go of the past sometimes 😅 luckily I have a few duplicate tapes to swap out the poltergeist case with. Was so disappointing but you get that sometimes. I appreciate the kind words! Always do my best to try make my videos authentic and unique. Thanks for watching legend 💪
Hi NinchMovies . I'm sure you'll find the Hollywood Murders doc interesting- a lot of sordid, tragic goings on in Tinseltown. The Sal Mineo case was sad, he was one of the three that met untimely deaths that came to be known as the Rebel Without a Cause (1955) "curse", which was the three young stars dying under tragic and mysterious circumstances- James Dean in a car crash at 24 in 1955, Natalie Wood by drowning (some also say murder) in her early 40's in 1981, & Sal Mineo, late 30's , murdered in his parking garage in 1976.😔 The Black Dahlia is a VERY strange old Hollywood case, still unsolved since 1947 of would-be aspiring starlet Elizabeth Short..the details are too horrific to go into here- your tape will I'm sure 🤦♂️. Does your Doc also include the Manson Case (1969)? The Wonderland Murders (1981)? The George Reeves 'Superman' (1959)case? The Robert Blake ("Baretta") case of the early 2000's? & I'm sure there has to be the O.J. Simpson case of 1994. It should be an interesting watch. I kinda agree about Psycho- I don't mind it and Vince Vaughn is passable as Norman Bates, I mean the OG Anthony Perkins can't be touched IMO. For me, it falls into the category of "if it ain't broke, it don't need fixin'"- but I think the Director Gus Van Zant was in a no win situation either way with a revered Classic like Psycho, he probably would have been criticized if he had tried to change it up too much. Now, if you want to search out a Director that did loving homages to Hitchcock, check out Brian DePalma's "Dressed to Kill", "Blow Out", "Body Double", "Obsession" & he even did his take on "The Black Dahlia" in the early/mid 2000's w/Josh Hartnett & Scarlett Johansson. Sorry for my rambling..Enjoy your haul my friend! 👊👍
@@goodowner5000 wow I had no idea about the rebel without a cause curse. I obviously new of James dean but not the rest. How very interesting. I’m unsure what the tape entails just yet but I’m keen to check it out. I guess it all depends on when the tape was released. Especially in regards to the o.j trial. Wouldn’t mind hearing more on Christopher Reeve too. Such a icon of his time. That’s very true. It probably didn’t need to be made regardless but as you said it ain’t broke so it’s watchable. Nobody can touch Perkins in my eyes either but Vaughn had a decent crack. I’ll have to check into those movies soon! No need to apologise. I love the ramblings 😂 appreciate you always legend, hope you’ve been well :)
