The way we were with Robert Redford and Barbara Streisand is unforgettable. Agree Victor and Abdul should be high up your list. Last 20 to 25 years what a sook 😂 go Saints at least we always look good. Great video❤
@@JackieMcilfatrick I’ll take you’re word for it, keen to watch it! Hahah actually it’s nearly 30 Thankyou, bad luck saints 😭🧐
Awesome pick up's mate .
Speaking of AFL, yeah, North Melbourne supporter here, lol.
Own quite a few AFL VHS tapes.
@@DeonCrawley Appreciate you watching legend. You poor thing 😂 my fiancé also goes for north so don’t worry I’m right there with you
Hi NinchMovies, good to see you! I've sung the praises of "Mrs. Brown" & Billy Connoly previously- I'll just double down on that and also reccomend Judi Dench's more recent return to Queen Victoria territory in the film "Victoria and Abdul", which I believe is by the same Director, Stephen Frears.(?)I'm sure though not on VHS🤔🤷♂️.
"Absence of Malice"(1981) is a good film with a powerful and always timely message about the power and responsibility of the Press. A lot of Oscar noms in it's year of release. Sally Field you may remember from "Forrest Gump" as Forrest's (Tom Hanks) mom- she's done tons of work, been around since the mid '60's w/her TV show "Gidget" & "The Flying Nun", etc. & BTW , two time Best Actress Oscar winner in 1979 & 1984.
Paul Newman is stellar in "Absence of Malice" , but was virtuoso the next year ('82) in "The Verdict" with James Mason, Charlotte Rampling, and Jack Warden..if you ever come across that VHS , highly recommend picking it up! "High Noon" is an OG classic for sure...have a feeling your Grandpa's taste & mine are simpatico, lol. Great vid & haul, as usual. Take care 👊👍.
@@goodowner5000 reading this aloud I do actually remember the countless recommendations of it 😂 sorry it had slipped my mind. Well there you go! Definitely recall her as forrests mother, didn’t realise how acclaimed she was though. I’ll keep my eye out for the VHS of course! Haha nothing wrong with that, love my grandpas taste and passion for his movies. Appreciate you always for watching legend and laying down that knowledge. Have a great day my friend✅
I remember watching James and the giant peach on the tiny school bus tv. That brings me back.
@@yayforledfe I think we watched it in English class from memory, must of had a sub that day 😂
@@ninchmovies 😂 the classic sub pulling out the vhs movies. The only two I ever remember were this one and flubber
Her Majesty Mrs Brown is a VERY good movie. Judi Dench is fantastic, as always. She is also the leading lady in the tv series As Time Goes By (just sayin). Robert Redford is usually stellar, but Spy Game isn’t one I liked. I saw Waynes World in theaters. I’m happy to see that people still enjoy it. Thanks for sharing your collection!
@@sherrywaters3775 Well I’m glad to hear even more positive things about her majesty mrs brown. It’s becoming a must watch very soon by the sounds of it. That’s fair though, haven’t really heard of spy game until it got mentioned to me to be fair. Aww that’s wicked, are you a fan of Mike myers as a comedian? Anytime :) thankyou for watching legend!
@@ninchmovies Mike Meyers is hysterical (most of the time). Quotes from his movies pop into my brain daily. (No way! WAY/party time excellent/I don’t speak freaky deaky dutch).
@@sherrywaters3775 I always have his slam poetry from I married a axe murderer in my head 😂 “she was a thief, you gotta believe, she stole my heart and my cat”
