Everyone needs at-least one Bark river in their collection. Hate or love them, they are or were a benchmark in American fixed blades. Bravo is their flagship model so go for it Dallas.
I have 15 or 16 Bark River Knives including a Bravo 1, so yea, Dallas should buy one. Highly recommended. BTW, I also have 7 different LT Wrights, lol. My 2 favorite knife makers.
I have the bravo 1 lt 3v. LOVE IT. A little thinner stock then the bravo 1 so it's better for slicing tasks like food prep around the campfire but still batons like a champ. The sheath was nice when new but hasn't held up the best. Will be making a kydex taco style sheath for it in the near future. Best knife of the bunch for my needs IMHO
I absolutely love my Bradford Guardian 3. Little bit smaller but still very usable. I actually talked it up enough that just a few days ago, I got my boss to buy one for himself
Check out the pocket sheath that Dylan at Oak City Leather Supply makes for it. I just got one for my G3 (and one for my Giantmouse GMF1-F) and it's great.
Dallas should 1000% get a Bark River Bravo 1 (or any from the Bravo lineup). I have several and they make outstanding users. They also have a lifetime, no questions asked warranty so use them without hesitation.
Excellent! I am a collector and love to sharpen knives. I also have stones that are over forty years old, that I still use. Would love to see new techniques.
Love fixed blades but only have 2 that could compare to anything on the table . Have been looking at the Roman from condor as my next buy . Was worried about riding up on the blade . But now will pull the trigger. Thanks guys from Australia love your work
Bark River is on my bucket list! Yes Dallas, you need that in your life ;) BTW…the idea of a sharpening video with different steels and blade shapes (including convex) with your in-house guys is brilliant! Looking forward to seeing it.
My bark river fox river 2 is by far my favorite knife. I got the 3V steel and it just cuts better than all my other knives. The funny thing is I haven’t bought a new knife in 3 years because I love it that much
@@BladeHQ , having users to take into the field is great and we have many of those but I feel like there are some knife styles that are just iconic and have great stories. For example, the new Boker Sherman Damascus made from WW2 tanks. I purchased that beast and have only taken it out of the box twice to hold. I stare at it everyday as it sits on my work desk as a display piece.
Get it, Dallas! Man, I've been wanting a Bravo 1 for a minute, but my finances are in the toilet, so... But you? You should bust that wide open. Seize the day, my captain!
I have one of those Adamas fixed blades. I love it. However, I still need to wrap the handle. There are a few out of this list that I do like. I do like that Bark River Bravo... I just might get the Bravo 1.25.
Love these videos, and that's great collection. I appreciate the love for the Barkie. I have my Bark River Bravo One set out where if something happened like a house fire, or I had to run for some reason, it's the one knife I would take out of my entire collection. It is, in my opinion, the best have only one knife ever made.
Glad I finally got to this! Now I can tell my wife my “issues” with knife carry and acquisition aren’t soooo deep. I’ve Really gotta watch more before commenting. Yes on the sharpening special and Tombstone!… “just another finger!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😳true! You have 10!
Yo I just started watching Dallas n Kurt n I luv these guys I've learned a lot n bought a bunch of new knives since watching... Peace out... The Ninjakilla.
Shout out to these 3 gentleman. Shout out to fixed blades. Shout out to blade hq. Happy Halloween. Kids ate candy n crashed now time to catch up on knife content. Shout out to my wife. Thanks fellas blade hq always has the good stuff.get it while it’s hot. Have a good day to all.
Dallas should definitely get a Bark River Bravo. I have a Bravo 1.25 in A2 and carry it almost all the time. Between it and my L.T. Wright Illuminous 5 I always have a great knife on me.
Remember Bark River's AMAZING warranty. You can beat the heck out of the knife, send it to them and they'll fix up your knife to brand new. Even the sheath in under warranty!
Dallas buy it mate.... I bought one a year ago, I have so beat the snot out of it, i have batoned seasoned oak, I have feathersticked like a monster, it doesn't cope it sails/breezes.
I love to watch the knife banter videos and, yall should check out some T Kell knives. This guys knives are very awesome in all aspects . I just got his Striker knife and it's so cool and unique.
love my bark river gunny in 3V green micarta red g10 liners my first convex egde knife love it. but for 130 you can get the joker nomad made in spain leather sheath fire starter grey micarta and stupid sharp convex blade about the size of a bravo lt . joker nomand . i like it more than my bark river .another great choice condor low drag leather sheath . for 80 bucks micarta handle strop with leather belt basically convex edge razor sharp
White River is amazing. I love the heck out of their knives. The Ursus is one of my favorite fixed blades. The FC5 is on my short list as well. I think I have too many knives on my list...or do I? lol Steel opinion video is a great idea. Thank you for watching -Dallas
3:20 The Guardian 3.5 doesn't actually stand for 3.5" blade. It's the same blade as the Guardian 3, which they list as 3.5" with a 3" cutting edge. Much like the Guardian 3.2 is just a Guardian 3 with the addition of a sharpening choil and fingerguard. The Guardian 3.5 is just a Guardian 3 with a longer (better) handle as well as the 3.2 upgrades.
I would love to get the opinion of a user on the Spyderco Province. It seems there’s only 2 kinds of videos for this knife: the collectors videos and the 2x4 chopping videos. I need a complete review even if very short.
Just a heads up. The Condor Lost Roman is listed as 1075 steel everywhere else.
Thanks for the heads up. I will look into this and get it fixed.
-Dallas
The condor lost Roman is cool as heck I’d get it in 1075 or 1095 it’s on my list. Have a good day to all.
Everyone needs at-least one Bark river in their collection. Hate or love them, they are or were a benchmark in American fixed blades. Bravo is their flagship model so go for it Dallas.
RingTail is my one BRKT.
@@allemander great choice! I have a couple gems too !
Talk more about the sheaths on fixed blades they're just as important. Fixed blade can live or die by how good it carries.
Sheaths can be changes out for not much cost though
I have 15 or 16 Bark River Knives including a Bravo 1, so yea, Dallas should buy one. Highly recommended.
BTW, I also have 7 different LT Wrights, lol. My 2 favorite knife makers.

I have that same adamas 375, I couldn't get a great Paracord wrap so I bought some custom scales and now it is my favorite knife by far
I carry 3 knives every day a boker Kalashnikov, Smith and Wesson boot knife and a bps b1 bushcraft fixed blade .
That is good to know about the sheath.
I love hearing how everyone uses their knives and what they think of them.
Thanks for watching.

Great video. I am loving more and more fixed blades. That lost Roman was just added to my wishlist😉
Isn't that thing RAD?
I don't buy knives to not use them, but the Lost Roman is cool. Plus I am a bit of a history buff.
