My dad and I did the same thing, I took over his Clinic with my wife (who is also a Vet MD) as he went to retirement. He still helps out with surgeries a little but we let him choose how much of it he wants to do and when. Once you get into that life there isn't really anything else you would rather do! You and your dad remind me of my own family so much! Good luck and good health to you both, and also my condolences for your loss from your Croatian DemolitionRanch fan ;)
Sadly, it probably means she didn't make it. Matt and Carrie both have said at different times that they start filming and some of the videos have taken weeks or even months to finish. They had to have many Vet Ranch animals going on at the same time. And then they would start videoing - and not finish a video because the animal dies. Some of those animals they were trying to save were in pretty rough shape.
My father was a geneticist. For many years he wanted to be a veterinarian but the schools would not accept him. I think the reason they gave was that he had aged out. But my father had a photographic memory. He was a counselor (on the side) meaning that many people confided in him. I beliece he was on his way to becoming a Pastor when he was killed in an automobile accident.. I was able to get into medicine as well....ah....well ...I work in a hospital as a nursing assistant. I also would have loved to be a vet but alergies were a deterant. I “fell in love:” with your videos originally I found the first og the abandoned ranch series. I alsways wondered what the stepping stones were in your life that brought you to this place in life. Now that some of the back story has been filled in I have a deeper level of respect for you. I’m so impressed.! I’m glad I found this episode.!
Glad to see your dad keeping his hands in the job hope that you keep giving him coming back every so often, hope you have a picture of the two of you in scrubs to show the history of the the practice

I love that he Bought the place, instead of getting it *just* because his dad owned it, like those "second generation heirs" that expect to just be handed everything. He earned it and i love that, and i love that he is so caring and such
I love your family!! Family is everything!! I miss my mum and dad. 💔
You’re so lucky to have a kind, supportive dad. He’s such a good role model for you. And thats why you have such a great marriage and family. God blessed you. I’m proud of you.
You are very lucky to have a relationship like that with your dad. I was also very close with mine and so many people do not. Thanks for all the awesome videos here and Demolition ranch, always great keep them coming!
Dr Lee has an amazing sense of humour. He's the best.
Vet ranch videos with Dr Lee every once in a while are a great idea
"I kinda walk stooped over", I laughed so hard while ya'll were talking about your ancestry DNA, and when Dr.Lee was cleaning Nala's wounds then massaging her out of anesthesia, Makes me love ya'll even more!
Ive never been one for youtube vlog channels. But I like guns and UA-cam apparently knows this and recommended your demo ranch channel very recently. Your passion and enthusiasm for life got me hooked immediately. Now I'm obsessed with all 3 channels and have been binging them. This is definitely one of my fav videos now. Your relationship with your dad is special. Reminds me of mine with my dad.
It is obvious Dad is pretty nice because Dr. Matt is awesome too. I was nurse and worked in the ER. Now my son is an emergency room physician. He did it on his own but I am so proud of him too.
You and your dad are blessed 👍🇺🇸
We all love you and your Daddy.
Off the ranch best channel ever
Poor sweet Nala!!! You both are incredible!!! Vets are very special docs!!! Bless you!!!
I can’t imagine your dad arguing with anyone. Such a gentle sweet personality. Loved this video of the guys hanging out.
That’s awesome, wish I had a relationship with my dad like that.
I hate when that happens to animals it's so sad. but when good people like you come and help them it's such a good thing!!!
It's such a blessing for both of you to have such a close, loving relationship. And Matt looks way too much like Dr. Lee for there to be any doubt who his daddy is! :)
You are a very lucky guy to have such a lovely father - he is a doll and he loves you to bits.
what an excellent video. i love your dad. he is so smooth and gentlemanly. plus it was nice to hear you talk normally and have a fun conversation with him. i would absolutely love to see more like this. thanks matt.
Seeing Dr. Lee *perfectly* imitate Matt's video closer genuinely touches my heart
Y’all are great. I think your Dad is very handsome. Love the closeness y’all have.
Jana Shaw Dr. Lee sure IS handsome!!!😍
I love seeing the two of you together. My favorites are when the two of you are on a case together :)
The furrbaby is adorable, and you and your Father are just so handsome. Prayers for precious Nala for a complete and quick recovery.
What happened to the pup? I was looking for an update but couldn't find it.
@@alicecain2830 i miss matt’s vids :(
You and your Dad are too much alike to deny relationship. Also ,you can't deny Lincoln. He looks just like you.
*David Rand*
Lincoln's beard is MUCH lighter.
I am very cool with vet ranch and off the ranch together
You dirty 😆🤣
@@TheYoutudeking how?
Really nice video of the two father-and-son veterinarians. I enjoy it very much. Poor pup, please keep us updated on her recovery. Thanks, Dr. Matt.
“I can’t do that math” , that gave me hope
Damn, didn't know my UA-cam star was also a VET. The two things I love the most. Guns and Dogs
Dr. Lee is just the best guy ever.
Like Father, like Son. Both of you gentlemen are kind, compassionate and very skilled Doctors. The world needs more just like you.
Glad to see your dad keeping his hands in the job hope that you keep giving him coming back every so often, hope you have a picture of the two of you in scrubs to show the history of the the practice
