I think I was around ten at the time. That was 1970 and I copied the computer from an episode of Star Trek. I'm glad to see kids still make pretend technology out of Legos. The more things change...

I grew up with a three legged dog, Coco! He basically had the same issue(would drag his front leg around) a few months after amputation he was just as agile as any other dog. His favorite thing in the world was going bird hunting. He couldn't swim at all however!! He lived to be 18!!
Was he able to swim before the amputation or always unable to?
H. S. He was able to swim before. He was a spaniel mix, so fairly adapted to swimming.
Wow! 18 years! That must have been a real happy and healthy dog! Sounds like a wonderful pal, sorry about his passing but I’m sure he enjoyed his long life!!
Chris Long it's funny watching a tripod dog sometimes. My sister has a 4 year old shih tzu that got his rear left leg amputated after a bad infection before she got him. Even to this day he'll go to scratch his ear or something and you'll just see his little nub move, kinda sad but funny.
I have known several 3 legged dogs and all seemed to be doing just fine. One was a 3 legged Jack Russell I met when I was 14. I was training for a track and field event and was jogging around my little town. As I came along one of the side streets the little guy came barreling down a driveway all happy to see me. Just about the time I was watching and marveling at how well he was running with a missing front leg my run came to an abrupt stop as I encountered the metal sign that someone had backed into and bent over the sidewalk. As I lay on the concrete with a rapidly swelling head bump my new best friend was all over me, excited that I had taken the time to stop and say hi and be considerate enough to lay down full length on the ground so he could lick my face.
When the kid said "American puppy" and then pulled out a plushie with an American flag on it I died inside he's so cute 😂

Nope, a clip basically is a stripper clip, the ones they used to load older rifles like an M1 Garand, SKS (from the top), M.95's etc., the clip is a metal sheet that basically just clips and holds the bullets in a straight line succeeding one another. Magazines hold the bullets inside a rectangular box compartment that typically is spring powered to propel the bullets to feed the gun. Best analogy I can think of is think about a literal magazine (the paper type magazine) and a clip (a paper clip). A magazine encases and holds a lot of sheets of paper, a paper clip holds fewer and the paper (which is an analogy for bullets) is entirely visible.
I actually tell this to everyone who says it’s a “clip”.😂

When a freeze is coming, turn all faucets on to drip. It's what we do in Atlanta. It prevents these problems.
Also, besides leaving your faucets dripping, you can get pipe warming wrap to keep the water above freezing. You wrap it around the pipes and plug it in. Running water.
They Literally sell pipe insulation for this reason

Michael Haigh Idk about Matt's clinic but most clinics that are trying to save animals instead of putting them down try to prep the animals to be released back into the wild. Putting it in the veterinary equivalent of a sling would require it to be monitored, etc. Amputation is easier, more cost effective, etc.
Michael Haigh It's dead weight. The problem is he can't feel it. So if the dog injures that leg dragging it around it can cause major health problems. Just like how older paralyzed people break bones and don't know and they heal wrong and get infected and all kind of problems. It'll be better and easier for the dog to not have the leg.
and the dog will be more comfortable, dogs do great adjusting to a missing limb.

Matt, I work at Walmart. I am on the Cap 2 team and we unload the trucks and take it out to the sales floor. If something you want is not on the shelf, look at the very top shelf. If it isn't on the very top shelf, find someone with a radio and ask them to check in with a Cap 2 team member to see if any of what you're looking for came in on the truck. You might just luck out and one of the Cap 2 team members might bring it out to you.

I found great tv deal at walmart online and on website said they had 6 left...when we went to store they had 0 on shelf.asked radio man and said they had them in back.i guess right when they unload off truck they mark em as having in store?make more sence if they marked em as having them in stock when they had them on shelf.i had to wait 45 min for them to unload the tv because the said it was behind a buch of pallets and couldnt get to it

"Heat Tape" Wraps around the pipes, it has a little thermostat on it it just tapes on, then plug it in when it's cold and it keeps the pipes from freezing

If you leave your faucet on with just a trickle, you can prevent your pipes from freezing. Running water doesn't freeze, still water does freeze. It's been below zero up here in Wisconsin for the past week or more, but today it got all the way up to 18 degrees so I walked out to get the mail in a t-shirt today.

They make trough heaters for horses. You might be able to wire up something similar if needed for your water system.
Espeon1134 they actually make chicken waterers that have a built in heating coil. Good stuff.

matt, if you have electric heat, with heat pump, flip your thermostat to emergency heat, that will heat your house better than a heat pump. had a few people asking me why their heat hasn't been keeping up this winter.
