I just picked up the same bike about a month ago. Good so far, ordered the range extender tonight and that led me to your channel. Thank you for you videos. I'm looking forward to watching them to see your experiences. Keep em coming please.
It is the sl1 or sl2 model,? I am waiting these days for the Sworks sl2 that comes with the extender as a gift. Specialized says that it consumes the same as the SL1, but I don't believe that, since the engine is 40% more powerful. I hope I can meet my needs with this bike.
Hiya, mine is the s1, I think they just upped the power from motor, still think runs same size batteries 320whr internal with 160whr external. Only way it can consume the same as the gen1 is if the motor is 40% more efficient
Hey Jonny. Just found your great channel and as a fellow North East rider about to test a Kenevo SL at Hamsterley next week I'm finding your videos really useful 👍 Will fire some questions over if that's ok?
hiya, that's great to hear and why i started doing the vids about the Kenevo, big investment so like to tell people what i have learnt so they can either save money or think about upgrades, pro's and con's, etc :-) i have had the bike now for about 14 months so hopefully can field any questions you have
@@jonnybrown5715 thanks. Do you tend to use turbo a lot on yours as you got through the extender battery quite quickly on those laps at Hamsterly? I'm aware you still had your standard battery to fall back on and I think I'd be only using the standard one if I get one.
@nomadic_dad I only use turbo normally if heading out on my own, people I ride with don't have ebikes so normally ride in trail 50/50. I can still do a good 4 laps of Hamsterley on internal battery on turbo, get round 2 x as fast and then get home early
@@nomadic_dad also 10 miles with that climb in that heat isn't bad for a range extender on turbo, would have done 20 miles on trail mode but as on my own quality was wanted over quantity 😉
@@jonnybrown5715 do you know how much a replacement internal 320Wh battery is when that finally gives up? I've looked online and can't seem to see any reference to such a replacement cost 🤔
Love these bars, have them on two bikes and tempted to get them for the levo as well. I noticed a big difference in arm fatigue with these vs the stock alloy levo bars
@@jonnybrown5715 yeah my giant had a 20mm rise and went to 40mm with these, didn't notice a huge difference but the next day I wasn't sore in my shoulder like I normally am
Which cable do you buy, i have the mtb 160mm and didnt fit, No. de Parte 98920-5655 / No. de Parte 98920-5650 :( , i think that are bad labeled in mexico
Thank you,,most useful details, just about to buy 2 of those, with a solar set up for long distance riding.
@cedricpierre8388 glad my video review helped, I also have a 400w panel and allpowers R600 so can go to bike parks and charge off grid 😀

If I help just 1 person then the video was worth it, thank you for your positive feedback 👍

hey, what about fitting with Specialized levo hardtail 2021, gpt say it wont work, but may its wrong?
Excellent video 👏
Dude I appreciate the video but my god that battery insertion/charging section was hard to watch lol the struggle was real 😂
Yep, I don't edit out the struggles so you get a full feel of experience 😂😅
Only works on SL models ....

Thanks i got two range extender batteries
Glad the review was helpful 😊
You would guess the battery comes with the cable. I don’t get it why you have to buy the cable separately.
There are 3 lengths of cable as this fits 3 different bikes that are different distances from battery to charge port
Could u use for otherbikes?
Only the select specialized range levo, creo and kenovo SL's
Apparently the SL models only I was told by Specialized 😉
@@jonnybrown5715turbo Vado SL uses the range extender too
Everything's harder 1 handed cept whankin 😂❤❤
Nope I even need 2 hands for that 😂😂

Hiya, that is the road bike length, you need the longest one 98921-5660. Which is 285mm
