Thank you! I love your recipes, always looking for ways to add yummy protein into a vegan diet. I am making this today! Wondering if this will work as 1 loaf in my bread maker.
Thank you 🤗 Just make sure you use a rather a large baking pan! The dough is quite dense and you need to get the height not too high (2 to 2.5 cm max) that it can bake through evenly and the final result will resemble to these mini breads 🙏
I made another one of you lentil roll recipes and they were delicious but it came out as a batter instead of dough so I put it in large muffin pan. I have to try it again.
Yes, certainly, you can use any flour that suits your health condition 👍 Actually, I’m using oat flour because it’s affordable, healthy and it gives the breads a taste and texture close to that of regular bread 🙏
Thank you 🙏 Actually, I haven’t tried adding chickpea flour but why not? I would expect it will work as well. I added oats to give it that bread-like texture and taste 🤗
The choice for red lentils is to add more protein and nutrients to the breads but, yes, you can add millet instead of it if that what you prefer. The recipe is very versatile and both the seeds and grains can be adjusted according to everyone’s liking 🙏
If you’re keeping it soaking in the fridge, you could go for up to 2 days (that’s what I do, sometimes, if I soak in the evening and can’t use it the day after, I use it the second day!). Not sure how longer you can go 🙏
Actually, the longue recipe description is already available in the description box (see the section under the video. Click on more and you’ll see the written recipe) 🙏
Can i ask two questions? Q1: any chance of a link for your pan please? I'd love to try making these but can't tell what size it is. Q2: when you added the batter was it just one spoonful per loaf, or did you split the whole amount of batter equally between the 8? Many thanks!
Hey there 👋 1) The mini loaf pan I’m using is similar to this one (see the link below 👇). 2) You are right, all the batter coming out of the recipe was equally distributed between the 8 mini loaves. If you get a chance to try the breads, let me know how you like them 🙏
@@zaracooksI'm probably being a bit thick but I can't see a link? I've checked all the comments and the description with the recipe in, where do I need to look?

Thank you 🙏
Excellent idea
Thank you.
Thank you 🙏 Glad you’re loving the recipe idea 🤗

I love this recipe it’s really good and adding yeast to it makes it really bread like thanks Zara
Glad you like it 🙏🤗
This looks great! Quick question please, as a diabetic, can I replace oat flour with almond flour?
Yes, certainly, you can use any flour that suits your health condition 👍
Actually, I’m using oat flour because it’s affordable, healthy and it gives the breads a taste and texture close to that of regular bread 🙏
Wonderful recipe! Thank you!
A suggestion would be to use a reusable cover for the bowl instead of disposable stuff.
You're a rolemodel after all. ❤
Thank you 🙏💓
I promise, I will pay more attention to those details in the future 👍🤗
Lovely! But could I use chickpea flour instead of some of the oat flour?
Thank you 🙏

Can you add almond/coconut flour please?
I haven’t tried it myself, but why not! I would think it will work too 🙏
Absolutely delicious but can you use the same recipe for one large loaf?
Yes, you can! Just make sure you use rather a large sized pan and don’t fill too high that it can bake through well and don’t get dense 👍
❤
Excellent ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Can I use gf flour or other rice flour etc
Yes, you can use a GF flour instead of oat flour 🙏
Can i put millet instead of red lentil?
The choice for red lentils is to add more protein and nutrients to the breads but, yes, you can add millet instead of it if that what you prefer. The recipe is very versatile and both the seeds and grains can be adjusted according to everyone’s liking 🙏
Red lentils are hard to find, yellow too. Would this work thus work with regular lentils?
Yes, you can use regular lentil for this recipe. It won’t change much in the taste of the breads. It might be darker in colour though 🙏
Is there a maximum amount of time to soak the lentils. I put some in the fridge and forgot them. Threw them away cause I wasn't sure about them.

How much oat flour
I added a 1/4 cup (25 g) of rolled oats into the seeds mix and almost a 1/2 cup (40 g) of oat flour later to make the ‘dough’ thicker at the end 🙏
But its 1 cup not 1/2 cup red lentils؟
It’s 1/2 cup raw red lentils. It’ll make ~1 cup once soaked.
Can you rewrite recipe in one place? Hard to read white type
