I love that I found you guys! Thank you for sharing. This May is our first family cruise and it's on the panoramic and I've been doing so many deep dives, I think I loved yours the best. I'm super excited for the silent discos! PS; you guys are super cute
Aww. You’re too kind! Thank you for watching and we hope you and your family have an amazing time! Definitely keep your eyes on the Carnival HUB App for the Silent Disco - they can sneak up on you if you’re not paying attention. Some cruises even have it multiple times! 😍
Congratulations on the ice cream eating contest! We've watched that showdown before - it can be aggressive! We're so excited for the Firenze; counting down the days!
I knew Dragana when it was my 2022 summer trip! Hope I still can see her in the future, also Boudan. Hope there is a way to check the which ship do people we like work on.
We absolutely love when we board a ship and spot a crew member that we've sailed with before! Sadly there isn't a way to keep track of their whereabouts without asking them when you see them. Even then their opportunities may change and what they've told you could be different.
Hey guys! Looking at going on the Panorama at some point in the future. Thx so much for this review. Loved all the tips. Also we LOVE Jiji’s! Great bday choice 😊.
@@JJCruise she’s a gorgeous ship! Hey birthday buddy! We highly recommend JiJi for a celebratory meal. It’s so much fun and the food is amazing! We’re definitely curious to hear your thoughts on the Panorama! -Rocky

Omg TOTALLY agree about Java Blue. What was up with those lines? Even if there were only 4 or 5 people in front of you, it could mean a 15-20 minute wait…but it was usually way longer of a line than that. I ended up going to Havana Bar for my coffee fix, and zero regrets there, but they really need to do something about the staffing or whatever at Java Blue.
Havana Bar is another great option for a caffeine fix; great call! But, agree, something was likely broken with staffing, training, or equipment. Hopefully it gets resolved sooner than later!!
@@thiscruiselife yeah to be clear I’m not saying anything bad about the employees - more that they either don’t have enough equipment or people at Java Blue to keep up with demand. I wanted some of their pastries from there, too, but never got to spend my money on them because I couldn’t justify the wait
@@ageeksaga Same here! While we really hated the fact we didn’t get to enjoy it, we know how hard the crew work every day which is why we always give a little extra grace. Tho, that boozy milkshake sounds pretty tasty as I think about it. Lol ;)
Hi guys! I cruised with you guys. We had a group of 31, it was for my husbands family reunion. It was a wonderful cruise! We loved it over all! We did the open dining experience it worked perfect for us. The hostess set aside a section for us on ship days and Cabo day. The other nights we just messaged each other of where and when we were headed to dine and who ever wanted joined who ever, joined. Worked marvelous. My least favorite and disappointing activity was the white dress party. The hype leading up for it and then it was pretty under whelming. They should have it be a “white out NIGHT”. Starting at dinner, also works perfect with the Celestial show. The indoor “party” was more of a sing a long. With a mostly sit down crowd. 😬not bueno. Didn’t cut it for us. Also: I had two teenagers, (16 & 17) who for the most part are well behaved boys 🙏🏽🤞🏽🙏🏽🤞🏽 I hope 🤞🏽 that they weren’t part of the bunch that were not. I apologize in case they were mine.
Sounds like a lot of work to coordinate 31 people, but how’s you all made it work! Love that the staff at the dining room helped you out. Agreed about the “white party”. They put that with Pride Night (which is something new) and we could tell a lot of the attendees were confused. Definitely a better pair up with Celestial Strings! We’ll just say that it was the other kids on the cruise that were boisterous. Glad y’all enjoyed the cruise!!!
Panorama is a ship that I’ve not done as it was cancelled during the shutdown. I eyed it this year as my favorites waitress ever I still stay in touch with is in the ship. But the flight from the east coast being one main reason i decided not to. That is a good point being the 3rd class in the ship the new can be gone if it’s similar like this class
Totally hear you about the flights. That’s our challenge for most of our cruise options if we want to sail the Caribbean. Don’t get us wrong, the Carnival Panorama is a beautiful ship! We’re glad she’s home ported at our closest cruise terminal. Hopefully your waitress friend will take their next contract on an east coast based ship!
Hey there! So excited for your first cruise! You're going to have a great time! First recommendation is to grab lunch on embarkation day at Guy's Pig & Anchor. It can be a little tricky to find: Deck 5, towards the aft of the ship, you'll walk through the Ocean Plaza lounge through the rotating doors and find this sweet spot for delicious BBQ waiting for you outside. For the sailing, itself, have fun! Depending on what you all like, check out some of the trivia games, go to the shows (including Welcome aboard, Celestial Strings, Love and Marriage). Check out Bingo and Deal or No Deal. Or you can just relax with spa services and lay out on the top forward deck (Serenity where kids aren't allowed). When it comes to food, if you are okay with spending a little extra, then don't miss JiJi Asian Kitchen (we have a couple videos on the channel that explain that experience), and if you like Asian food, Bonsai Teppanyaki and/or Bonsai Sushi are great! The best thing to do is to download the Carnival HUB app ahead of the cruise and use that to get all of your information. We hope you have an absolutely amazing cruise and please let us know how it went after!
I’ve never been on a cruise before. What does it mean to stand in line for 2 hours for luggage tags? I’m thinking of going on the Panorama next year. Thanks! 🛳️
Great question! The day prior to debarkation, the cruise line will place a rack on the Lido deck (deck 10) near the forward elevators that has various tags with numbers on them. If you choose to have your luggage taken off the ship, you would need to go pick your numbered luggage tag off the rack. The debark process will begin with carry-off passengers and then luggage checks by number. The lower the number you obtain, the earlier you'll get off the ship! We always grab the highest number available so we can take our time, eat food and just relax. Hopefully this is a little more clear for you! We will record a video outlining this process soon. Let us know if you have more questions! The Carnival Panorama is a great ship!
@@thiscruiselifeAh, I am graduating from college as a transfer student soon, so maybe just a normal birthday, but next year :) Hope I will have chance to say hi on the same ship for your birthday!

Stop it, Rocky, you are NOT 40! You crazy kids! :D Love the video and the breakdown of everything. Seems like you all had the bestest time. Chris is my favorite CD. And having sailed the Panorama twice, I wholeheartedly agree with pretty much everything you said. I did the 4 day on the Radiance last year over the 4th of July, and had a great time, not too many kids, but the celebration for the 4th was uneventful. So happy you had an EPIC time!! Now how do I get one of those lanyards? :D
