I cruised on the Panorama last September and Marty was the best. My friend and I went to Deal or No Deal and her card got called to participate. It happened to be her bday and when we got back to our room, Marty had sent her chocolate covered strawberries w/ a bday card. That was very thoughtful of him. Out waiters and the ladies at Java Blue were excellent.
Leaving in 3 hours to fly to LA then shuttle to Long Beach. Getting on the Panarama in just 11 hours. Woohoo. Great video. You did a great review. Thank you.
The gym closes to give the staff an opportunity to workout. (so I believe) Each night when the gym closed I continued working out and noticed it was me and only staff working out. I guess they assumed I was staff until the final night I was questioned whether or not I was staff and had to leave.
Headed to the Panorama next month. Been on the Horizon, and enjoyed the ship so looking forward to this one is as well. I found the late night snacking to be lacking as well. So, I order breakfast room service and get the cheerios and save for later. I also will order the cheese plate in the MDR and take it back to the room.
from the videos of this particular ship, the atrium wasnt that grand...i agree. when people enter the ship..it should be amazing to see...this looks like an early 90s mall.
Thank you guys for being SO thorough!! My hubby and I have 4 kids and cruising is the most affordable and convenient way for us to trave to multiple places at once. We just booked the same cruise on the Panorama for spring break in March so it was nice to hear all of your likes and wishes ahead of time so we can plan better lol. Great information and I look forward to watching more of your cruise reviews 🤗
We cruised the Panorama in June last year. We had a Havana aft room. And honestly the room wasn't worth it. There was so much soot from the ship on out balcony We couldn't go out without being covered in black ash. Otherwise having access to the pool area was amazing.
My wife and I just came off of this cruise with my wife’s sister and brother in law. We spent a little more to stay in the Havana area on the back right side of the 8th Floor. Our room had an extra long balcony room 8769. To our left, my in laws had a corner room, 8767 that was configured in a wedge shape. My sister in law wasn’t crazy about that at all. Our view was out the back of the ship. You came down the main hallway and entered the Havana area through another door , separated from the regular rooms. The view was great. You looked down to the Havana Experience, next to Ocean Plaza. We got to enter the area and utilize the pools and spas by wearing a yellow wristband. We only went there on the last couple of days. The bad news about this area was their was soot all over from the exhaust mist from the ship motors. We complained and they would send people to clean the deck off a couple of times. One couple would sit out for morning coffee and would get skid marks on their clothes from soot. The ship customer service was somewhat surprised but they were complemented by dinner at the steakhouse. I would stay in that area again, but use a few towels to put on the chairs or wipe them off. The Havana pools and spas area is cool and would hang out there , more often.
Great job. I had watched all of your videos before we went our the Panorama from December 17th to 24th. We had a great time. I have some thoughts about the elevators. When other guests figured out how to use them they worked great but there was a ton of frustration. We hung out in the Atrium for all the different parties with Ryan, our cruise director. It was always so hot because so many people would be hanging out on all 3 decks. We stayed in an interior room on deck 8. Our room steward was great, always bringing us the things we needed. We had to have maintenance out twice to fix things. On the first day, our safe's battery was dying and would not be quiet. They had to change the batteries at midnight so we could sleep. The other was our toilet stopped flushing. We heard from several other guests that was having problems with the bathrooms in their staterooms. It was also super hot in our room every night even though the thermostat was all the way down. We also did not love the food on board. Most of the stuff we ate in the MDR was really good but portions were super small. The only other complaint I had was the seating in the buffet areas always seemed crowded especially on the first and last day of the cruise. We would go back on the Panorama but I think we want to try a different ship out of Florida next time. Sorry for the long rant.
Thanks for your comments and watching the videos 👍 I'm sorry that you had troubles with your cabin. It's always interesting hearing other people's perspectives on a similar trip. All the best!
Great detailed video. I can't wait to go, we leave Saturday 7/8. OAN Idk how a couple shares a room with a kid, especially a teenager. It's not vacation if I can't.........
Sea day brunch is served in the main dining room on sea days. I believe it was from approximately 8:00 a.m. until noon but I could be wrong. A variety of complimentary breakfast and lunch meals can be ordered.
Could you give some details on getting your tender pass for Cabo San Lucas? My wife and I will be doing this cruise in about a week. We are trying to book something on shore for 10 am and aren’t sure if we’ll make it on time. The boat should be arriving around 6:30 am according to our itinerary.
I watched your video and took notes, as I have an upcoming Mexican Riviera cruise on the Panorama. I couldn't get straight in my notes which places had complementary food (that usually don't). I think you said Pig and Anchor on Deck 5, Gigi's (not sure of deck) that had a Mongolian wok, and Pasta Bella in Cochina del Capitano had Italian (not sure of deck here, either). I guess I shouldn't start watching videos after midnight, lol! Would you please just give me a quick list of where to get food that's not normally free. Where and when. Thank you so much for making this video. Any tips for the Panorama will be helpful. I have only cruised Princess before.
If you have a look back in our channel, we have a full vlog series from this cruise which should give you a lot of tips. I also created a video on all the complementary food that we experienced during our sailing. I hope these videos help you out.
Question: by any chance do you know when formal nights & sea day brunch are on a 6 day cruise? We are going in October. Our port stops are 2 days in Cabo & 1 day in Ensenada. Thank you.
Unfortunately I don't as we haven't done that itinerary. Hopefully someone else watching has the answer for you. You could also try googling the fun times and sometimes people post them for you to look at.
Very informative, seems like you had more dislikes then likes. But I appreciate that! So when I take my cruise that’s coming up soon I won’t be so disappointed!!! Since I have been on several different ships , I’ll know the difference as well!!! Happy that I clicked on your post ❤….. wish I would have watch this beforehand though 🤔
Every ship will have its little flaws. We had a wonderful time on the Panorama and have even encouraged family members to book on it. We're sure you'll have a wonderful time. Thanks for watching and happy cruising. 🛳️🌴☀️
Hey guys! Thank you for all your videos, super informative! Question: how much was the Uber/Lyft? My husband and I are considering purchasing the transportation through carnival and we want to know what is the most affordable option
We paid about $12 from our car rental to the port and about $40 from the port to the Long Beach airport. This was for the XL size that held three of us. Although keep in mind, prices do change depending on how busy it is.
I understand why the Uber driver kicked you out... I disagree with them but I know why. While they are waiting in line to drop you off, they are not making money. That's time they could spend driving people back and forward and making money. Carnival who leases the port should set up a dedicated lane for taxis, rideshares, and shuttles. Most likely as this progresses more and more drivers will refuse that trip.
@@NorthernVikingExplorer ooh okay there was more seating on the vista especially around the atrium and the main pool. But besides seats it looks identical

That's awesome about deal or no deal! Yes, Marty was an awesome cruise director and extremely friendly. Thanks for watching 👍
That was a great and very comprehensive video. I’m going on this same cruise on Saturday. It’s my first ever cruise so thanks for your great review.
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks for putting this together! It was truly informative and should facilitate our cruise later this summer.

That's to bad about the soot. I'm sure that was disappointing. I was a little jealous looking over the edge down at the Havana pool on sea days. ☀️🛳️🌴
I love these thorough, long reviews - so much good information and great tips/things to know. Thank you and I've subscribed. ☺

I'm sorry to hear that happened. Other than that, I hope you had an amazing cruise.
oh i was also disappointed that they had zero Christmas ornaments when it was a Christmas cruise.
Oh, that would make me sad
I’m with you I wish you could order a light menu, might be less food waste for us with a smaller appetite.
It's true, there's so many things also that you want to try but if the dish is too big there's no room left.

Did you go in December? If so curios to know how is the weather in Mexico?
No we were there in August and it was very hot and humid.

Thank you! Appreciate you watching! Happy Cruising!!! 🌴☀️🛳️
This is our first time cruising on Panorama. I’ve cruised on radiance a few times. When is sea day bunch on Panorama?
Sea day brunch is served in the main dining room on sea days. I believe it was from approximately 8:00 a.m. until noon but I could be wrong. A variety of complimentary breakfast and lunch meals can be ordered.
We are going in 1 week. Wondering if we should purchase wifi or if the phone itself will have signals. Thank you!
Were you able to get a phone signal ?
Are the candies in the candy shop complimentary? I didn’t see any price there in the video.
No, it's a store so everything needs to be purchased.
Great video, thanks! What was your sail date?
Thank You! This was a few months back on the August 20th sailing.

I don't believe we had to get tender passes. We just went and got in line.

Sailing on the Panorama next month. Is there afternoon tea?
I believe there is but it's only once or twice on the sea days. It's under the hungry for more section in the fun times schedule.

This is smaller than vista?
It is the sister ship so it is almost identical to the Vista.

Gigi and Italian were available everyday for lunch was free.
Yes, You are correct. It is actually everyday not just sea days.
Just sample the damn burger and leave the leftover!
What was the weather like all around?
