If you have, take an IR camera and check on the panels to discover hotspots from hail impact. Even the glass may not be cracked, the wavers underneath could still be damaged. Stay safe!
Glad you and your famlly are safe. I was headed to the Douglas County dump becasue I was throwing away some bathroom tear outs. It was nuts. Bennington Lake had some homes that had damage.

The last BIG hail storm we had a lot of damage and I couldnt tell with the old roof. Insurance said YEP so we got a new roof. Think that was around 2012ish
Good job. Some insurance company’s are canceling coverage if you have a solar panel installed on the roof. You might want to look into it. Your power wall is looking pretty good right now. Thumbs up 👍
Thanks Man! I had solar on the roof last time it was replaced from a hail storm. At least at that time they didnt care. I charged up ALL the batteries JIC but we only had a few flickers.
Great video ! was wondering is there a product that you can use to cover your panels for event's like this , maybe a thick layer of plastic or some type of makeshift protective layer to lower the impact of hail damage ? Keep well ! Edit ,, maybe epoxy resin as a product that you can use ? maybe an idea for a video ?
Glad you dodged the bullet! Many years ago I was up on the roof of my parents house in Houston,Tx. I was repairing one of those spinning attic vents. Just happen to look down and saw a hole in the asphalt shingle and looked more closely and it was a bullet stuck all the way into the sheathing. It wasn't leaking so I just left it there and still think how stupid people are that celebrate by shooing in the air.

Yeah seems Lincoln had a ruff area, Elkhorn for sure and many places in Iowa. So far round 2 didnt mount up to anything!
