That's why i find it most fun to build small islands up to artisans and design their town squares to look nice. But the way you're able to blend all the sessions and integrate items is really cool to watch. keep them coming!

2205 also has an artic dlc that's why! And yes, the music pavilion gives extra attractiveness to the items and should you have all the intems of each set, it gives even more, to make an incentive to put these sets and not just the best (like that one edict from the palace)
Regarding the music "Thematic Exhibition" bonus: it means that if you have one of those sets completed in the same museum as that music, the entire set gets a bonus to their attractiveness value. So it encourages you to have multiple "themed" museums and gardens, etc.
I started with 2070, and then played 2205. As much as I enjoy 1800, 2205 will always be my favourite. I really loved juggling the Temperate, Arctic, Tundra, LEO, and Moon sessions.
2205 music has the arctic bonuses because one of the three region types IS arctic. 2070 doesnt really show much ice, after all, it all melted. (2070's music probably has underwater bonuses to symbolize the underwater 'islands') Its the game set in the peak of the climate crisis. 2205 by contrast shows a world after it, recovered and progressing, and the polar caps are back, thanks to advanced technology. Its personally my favorite game, as the aesthetic is gorgeous, scifi but not gloom and doom like so much nowadays. It does simplify trade mechanics compared to 1800, in that each region is a single unit, so all trade is interregional, and handled externally. (no fleets for that, only for combat)
Hi, The best trade union item for all production industries is Feras (provides 50% productivity) which can be obtained from Isabel Sarmento in New World.

If you really want to keep yr population steady and happy, adjust your Docklands items for a 30 min round trip, otherwise, just before he comes, yr pop will dip as they start running out of items. It is like 29.5 min. Also, as stated by others, Nate sells the items you need to transmute most things.
At 36:20 If the cost increases with 100 each time you buy/invest and you still have (447-135 = 312 items, per 3 is) 104 buys to go. This would mean the last buy/3 items will cost: 3700 + 104*100 = 14100, so you're fine :) On a side note: why not use the "All islands" button when checking production demands?
I think the easiest way to sort out your rum issue would be to increase storage at your Rum island.. bring it up to 900 and your ships would never run out of Rum supply. :)
Hey Darren, around 25min you talk about filtering the islands that consume certain goods. Would filtering by all islands on the top left help? (I don't have the game so I don't know)
Usually yes, and for most goods yes, but because of Cape Trelawney, thats an island I have seperated from everything else, so their consumption of Beer for instance, is irrelevant to every other island. Normally youd be right, Ive just setup this in a weird way :P
You mentioned you've never played anno 2205. You should totally do a playthrough of that at some point. Maybe when this series is finished as something to wait for the next anno game with
I know they are adding buses, Which is amazing. But I hope railroads get more love. Maybe they improve efficiency or lesson the amount of workers in the area of effect of a train stop.
Glad you got your pc sorted :) For your coffee and rum - you can get a pier upgrade permit from the research institute. That way, you can upgrade a couple of piers in the New World to only rum or only coffee. Loading speed is increased, and if you have "wait to load" on, you're not holding up all your other ships. All your coffee ships will wait in line to use the same pier. For your lightbulbs, you can craft an epic item you've already identified. It's called something blowing machine. And lastly, there's a "soft cap" of 250k research points. Every time you move a clay deposit or oil spring, the cost increases up to a max of 250k. However, when you craft items, their cost will increase every time, so there will be a limit to how many you can craft (far beyond 250k research points, if you wanted to, but still a limit).
And I saw that one scholar house on the research institute side isn’t covered by the the town hall so maybe you could add an item that increases its range?

If you clicked the 'all islands' tab in the statistics menu, then click on the resource item, would it by default calculate all the relevant islands which are consuming that item?
not sure what you mean by "relevant" - if you select all islands, it will show all islands that consume/produce them. The reason I don't click "all" is because sometimes some islands might provide their own stuff and not depend on the trade routes, like my Cape Trelawney islands don't receive anything from the Old World I believe, but they consume Beer / Canned Goods as well, they just make it all themselves so I don't need to see it.
Docklands DLC is pure pay to win. It's a shame the dock area ornaments are all tied to that DLC because it's tough to make good, interesting looking harbour areas without buying the entire DLC

Old Nate sells most crafting materials in his CT port, so you don't have to produce it your own, which includes chassis & steam motors

You can buy tons of that golden propellers from Archie. They are not worth spending research points. Only legendary items are worth.

Why not select all islands when looking if you have enough production....seems easier then remembering what islands have population
Because Crown Falls is sort of isolated to have ots own supply/demand issues in my campaign. Later, when building up Crown Falls I use all islands
