I also have those tip protectors on all my rods to, they're so cheap from Ebay and probably other sites to.

Some magnificent fish there! Can also highly recommend kayak fishing too. Spend some time on the safety aspects so you can feel confident about your abilities and it is the most fun you can have on the water. It opens up a vast range of possibilities.

Some other people commented, that kayaks are not for winter BUT I guess, if will learn to be stable on the water whilst afloat, I should be fine!

Andrew's Knots as the saying goes - there is no such thing as bad weather, just wrong clothing. I’d get my kayaking chops sorted out in summer first, to be truly confident you will have to practice re entry in a variety of circumstances, but it is well worth the effort. You may even find that the fishing takes a backseat.

Cool vid Andrew! :) nice to see you catching some perch (and pike) while its quite hard at the moment. Cool to see you totally switched to Kuying rods! I know you used savage gear lrf 0,5-7gram before (like i do) how does this one compare to the SAS762S? Im still really satisfied about the savage gear lrf.
SAS762S is a bit faster than Savage Gear LRF. Very similar rods though but Kuying can work with a wider range of weights. Savage Gear LRF is still my recommended that kind rod anyone at fair price! 👌👌

Thanks for the vid Andrew. Can you reccomend a good landing net for Perching/Piking?
For the last year or so I use Spro Flipnet head. Very good product, just thread may be too long for some poles (pinned ones) ✌

I can only recommend what I use myself for these situations and that's Kuying Superlite from here bit.ly/3gf87pz to suit your style.

Nice fishing andrew queen rods never heard of that company are they english sound like they could be american oh by the way i received all my lures from aliexpress got some fantastic crank lures at amazing prices the braid is absolutely fantastic got to say the soft perch lures are incredible quality Queen rods i will have to see who sells them thanks andrew great video andrew all my lure rods are HTO RODS absolutely fantastic lure rods i have 3 of them all for different weight lures obviously ALIEN
