You have to be one of the most underrated people on youtube
@Local I appreciate that!
You sound like someone that would be really nice hangout with and just like shingle a roof. stay cool. Im picking up an 87 350 this weekend.
@Joe Snorts Haha it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve shingled a roof.. These old Moto 4’s are tough machines. Never had the 350 but I’m sure it’s pretty bulletproof.
I had a $100 bayou once. lol The thing i dislike the most about the Bayous is the rear suspension. They allow the axle to articulate to help with the ride and suspension flex but for a bigger guy like me, its terrible for cornering and side hills and it will actually pick up the inside front tire when turning. Some of the old solid axle arctic cats have the same style but they're heavier and seem to do a little better with it. Most rear swing arms dont articulate and there is basically no body roll that way. Aside from that i think the Bayou is a good machine though, they made a bunch of them. I was impressed the yamaha made the hill so easy and the bayou wouldnt go. I thought his tires might hook up better but it goes to show that more pliable tires are a big help with stuff like that. I have a 4wd Suzuki Quadrunner im fixing up right now. These old machines are just fun.
@CumminsDriver635 I have a arctic cat bearcat 454 that has the articulating rear suspension and that thing is actually very stable, but like you said it’s probably due to the extra weight… And yeah as we found out my 4 ply tires had a little more grip than my brother 6 ply tires…
Those Suzuki Quadrunners are great little machines I just did a video on a 250 Quadrunner a couple weeks ago and I was very impressed with it.
Those 4 motor are tippy too
These videos just keep getting better and better. You should make some merch, I would 100% buy it if you made some sweaters, stickers, shirts etc.
@Ride and Fun. I appreciate that! I’ve been thinking about trying to sell some merch, I’m trying to create a new logo I could use first.
@@rockspowersports Yeah logo is always the hardest part. Its the best to get your own shirt printer so that way you don't rely on the website to do it. I had some clothing made through bonfire before and it was great quality. But just that it took about a month to receive. If you make some announce it in your videos and ill be the first to buy.
@@MLAuto69 That’s good to know..
When I do get some made up I’ll be sure to announce it.
Thanks for the support!
@rockspowersports the logo is incredibly important, make it simple enough to engrave just in case. I remember thinking $400 was a rip off for a logo professional to make me one. It's well worth the investment
Honda 200 sx was very underrated back in the 80s
Great video !! I have always been a Yamaha fan myself
I had a blue 86 Moto 4 as a teenager, There is a an old fellow up my way in Maine that has a Red Moto 4 that is complete original rims and plastics and all for 850 bucks...After seeing this I am tempted to pick it up... I miss my Moto 4
Bruh tf? Buy it. Gold wheels alone $850 cool factor
I hope to find an 87 350 like that once I've got some land and a place to own it lmao. Childhood quad, absolute units
fantastic bike, my mate has one in Australia but he said its a 250 i done a video on it today.
Subscribed. I need a solid old four wheeler
Thanks for subscribing. The old Yamaha and Honda wheelers are pretty tough machines.
Awesome editing! Mic up your brother next time. Looks like fun.
@Jim’s Tech Nonsense Thank’s I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Appreciate the feedback, I’ll have to get another mic setup for him.
I had a moto4 80 when i was a kid, so fun
Wow. The bayou reminds me of mine. It was 900 bucks e start doesn't work but has a winch, plow, and newer tires
@Carson Meier These old machines are a blast to drive!
Haven`t seen a quad for 100 buck that runs ever.
They needed a little tinkering to make them run.
Fuck my quad was free and had it running the same night
I had both of these machines growing up. The moto 4 was a much better machine all round to me
Always liked my moto 4!
Petition for Ryan's intro to be "Hey guys, Ryan here" 😂
@Donut Watcherator Right! Might as well follow suit with me.
Hundred bucks well spent.
Haha man no air filter is ballsy
Comment love frm CHI
Wow, I thought for sure the Kawasaki would be faster. I'll check your brothers channel out & tell him how bad his is channel is compared to yours. Just kidding of course, but will check it out.
@KyletheFryan I kind of thought the same, but there actually both pretty close in speed. And he’ll appreciate it!
I wanna rematch 😤 😄
@Resurrected lemons Anytime!
Thay don´t call those tires "excavators" for nothing.
@SteelTube They are diggers!
@@rockspowersports Anyway I have the same tires on my busted Brute Force 300 (more or less the same you guys have), and they work great. Maybe wrong tire pressure or something.
220 kawasaki out ran my 350 rancher. 47mph topped out
@Chris Davis That’s surprising to hear!
Yep. A friend had one and he would always pull on my Honda 300 ATV (utility version). I believe mine would top out between 42-45 mph and he would get somewhere around 49-52mph. Of course this was 24-years ago, so memory might be a bit fuzzy. I know they say the Bayou top speed is around 45mph and that is totally false.
Good video!
@Arcticcatic802 Thanks!
