Also I also hear reviewers complain about faulty palm rejection. If pen only mode is turned on in the art apps, does it work perfectly or does it still bug out?
@@ZS.Bonsai I've been using infinite painter and with pen only mode it's perfect. I've not had chance to play with medibang yet

YEAH, I definitely agree! The Huawei Matepad Pro should be a much budget tablet but man, EMUI just doesn't ever beat One UI, it's really how you described it, it's just so different~

Much of what this guy is talking about in terms of performance expectations is SO esoteric that it's absurd! Maybe it's my age group, I'm 59, but I consider all these devices as "magic"! Things like so called viewing angle deficiencies. Why would this really matter!? This is a GREAT tablet that if you just embrace it with all that it does, what more do you need? Or more importantly, expect!?
I honestly prefer the wider aspect ratio on Android tablet than the 4:3 aspect ratio on iPad. It much better for watching videos, TV shows, and movies which is what i bought a tablet for, only really old videos/ TV shows is in 4:3 ratio. Imagine watching a movie on iPad, the movie will only takes up half the total screen space. Not very immersive.
For video and social media consumption, this ratio is fine. But for drawing, there is more area with the iPad.
This is the perfect aspect ratio for a tablet in my opinion. I think Apple has it mixed up. Phones don’t need the 16x9 aspect ratio. Tablets do. I don’t watch Netflix and UA-cam on my phone. I watch it on my tablet. The 16x9 on plus sized phones like the iPhone 11 Pro Max and galaxy note lineup just doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t help with the main apps people use. A taller and narrower phone like the Sony phones are doing make more sense IF the software organically supports it so the content on the top 20% of the phone never needs to be touched, only mainly viewed.
I'm considering to buy this tablet for studying and taking notes. But I'm not sure if it's the best option for owing it during 3-5 years long. Otherwise, it's better to buy S6 (normal). I don't play games and I often watch movies and series
Same with me brother. I have trying to search that how is this device for reading from pdf file.... specially highlighting and taking notes in the pdf file itself... Weather palm rejection works there.

@@tanujchauhan9179 About taking notes in PDF, I think it varies according to the PDF app and its functionalities. Otherwise, I've seen some reviews of this tablet in note taking and it worked pretty well. Also, this tablet comes with a case and a S Pen, which can be very practical. However, the reviews I've seen are in my mother tongue, Portuguese.

I am planning to buy it for atleast 3-4 years, will the Exynos 9611 age well over time? I am skeptical about EXYNOS processor.
My usage would be quite normal- Multimedia, video calling, document viewing, etc. Nothing very heavy

Will this tablet last for 3 years of fairly big use at uni? Its only 260 in UK for students but the ipad air is double so should I save the money or pay for the ipad which I know will last

I’m not familiar with samsung tablets, but does this run Microsoft 365, more specifically will i be able to download teams on it. When we start back in September my school will be using teams so i want to make sure i cant get something that runs teams.
Yes, the Tab (and Android) supports Office 365 (Word, Excel etc). MS Teams is available via the Google Playstore as well.

TFT display is a huge downgrade at current times... it is not just savings for customers.. it is a huge RIP off for customers.. to me this table is a major major major NO..

@@kostas_n I'm actually using an ipad pro 2018 which i don't really need because I'm just using it for web browsing and UA-cam. It's fast and smooth for sure but i have no issue using my s10 plus or any other lower refresh rate device People are really exaggerating this whole 120hz They make it seem like 60hz is kind of useless. My brother also has the s20 and I'm not impressed at all.It's not a feature that really blow my mind honestly

I'm afraid, 2000x1200 is not enough for a 10.4" screen. Now I'm using a 2560x1600 8.4" screen.
2000x1200 on a 10.4" screen is about the same DPI as 720p on a smartphone display.

@@nickackermanchannel ya it's frustrating I read online that the tab S4 is supposed to be getting the software update to Android 10 this week and sitting here on Thursday with no update. I'm still on January security patch update too.
Nick Ackerman you’ll get it soon man don’t worry, I’m on iPad Pro rn but the os it’s just limited. Sure you have pro level apps but I’m no pro, I just hate the os it’s so limited and I regret getting it over a Samsung tablet. My first tablet was the note 10.1 (not 2014) and it was amazing! Have a lot of memories with it. Hoping to get a tab s7 when it comes out.

The number of pixels per inch (ppi) decreases as the dimensions of the screen increases, so you can't compare an 8 inch tab with a 10 inch one with the same resolution, because it is logical that the pixels will be bigger, so they will be less per inch.
