Hey, I just got this video recommended to me and it’s really good! I recently played both Bayonetta 1 & 2 early September on the switch and they have also quickly become some of my favourite games of all time! I love the games for their unique aesthetic, beautiful settings, exciting gameplay and stories. Bayonetta herself is also a great character and I take a lot of style inspiration from her lol. It’s nice to play more linear games like Bayonetta too since most games that are out right now are huge open worlds that can be tiring to get through sometimes. The first bayonetta game I played was actually Cereza and the Lost Demon (bayonetta origins) about a year ago and while its more puzzle-y and the gameplay is different, its also great and I love it too, I highly recommend it! I grew up with a lot of games too and as for my absolute favourite game, I’m not sure if I can pick one just yet. I love the Bayonetta games but I also love the Zelda series and Team Ico’s games (Ico and Shadow of the colossus - you said you’re more of an action game person and these games are kind of not like that so I’m honestly not sure if you’d like them, but I still highly recommend them as well if you haven’t played them! Both games take place in these ancient mystical abandoned settings and they are very unique when compared to other games).
Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it and am glad you enjoyed the video! I did play Origins and agree with what you said I enjoyed it a lot :) Actually funny you mention those games by Team Ico, those are games I have wanted to play for a really long time (specifically Shadow of the Colossus). I will have to play them now with the recommendation, it sounds like something I'd be interested in! Thank you for the great comment I loved reading it :)
@@PrinceAqua I actually think it’s better to play Shadow of the Colossus first since it’s easier to get used to and there’s more action. Ico is more of a puzzle-platforming game and I feel like playing it after Shadow of the Colossus made me appreciate it more. I hope you enjoy playing them and I also hope your channel continues to grow :)
@@NadiaD-z7q Thank you so much, I really appreciate the kind words and I hope to hear more from you in the future as well :) I think I'll definitely play Shadow of the Colossus for sure, hopefully I can get the remaster for a good price somewhere.
Bayo 2 is my FAVORITE game. While Bayo 3 definately had issues, I sttill enjoyed my time with it. Bayo 4 supposedly went into development shortly after the 3's launch had settled down. 🔜 💅🏽👠🔫🔫🔫🔫👼🏽👹 4️⃣
I waited around 10 years to play Bayonetta for the first time after watching a JonTron video. I binge-played the game until 4 a.m and loved it deeply for the humor, gameplay, and story
@@PrinceAqua will I understand the storyline if I directly jump into 2? I have always appreciated this game & im finally buying a switch next month & I really want bayonetta 2 to be my first game
@@ZaidKhan-kg4wd The story for 2 is pretty much new the only thing it takes from 1 is a few characters (Jeanne, Rodin, etc), but it does a good job of explaining who everyone is if you didn't play the 1st. I think of it kinda like they made Bayonetta 2 to please newcomers since it had been so long since the 1st game, so you should be good!
Dude, if you’re picking *Bayonetta* as a game that’s the best of all time for you, then clearly you’ve never played “Psyops:The Mindgate Conspiracy growing up. I weep for your loss mate 😢
I still play Bayonetta from time to time, not only I love her as a character, but the angel desings are amazing
@@SuperCrispyPotato I agree the designs are some of my favorite! Specifically, I really like the tarot cards from the 2nd game
Feel it soo Hard... Bayo was my first PS3 Platin Ever 25Ys ago... and still Play it

Great video, Peyton! My all-time favorite game is probably Super Mario 64.
Thank you! That game makes me sad, but I'm glad you like it
Man I love this game, you have no idea how heartbreaking was to me Bayonetta 3 was so bad
Yeah, Bayo 3 is an awful end to the franchise
@@HammytheDevourer It broke my heart too lmao I can’t wait till I’m able to cover that game I got some words lol
@@SuperCrispyPotato hopefully it won’t be the end tho we could have a Bayo 4 and just forget about 3 lol

@@KelvinMMoore69 Same, outside of the ending and Viola I enjoyed the game a great deal! Hopefully in a 4th they can correct things.

@@mardz107 That’s awesome! It’s a very addicting game to play once you sit down with it
My personal favorite games are Psychonauts 1 and 2, its a tossup between which
I've heard good things about those, but haven't checked them out yet. Maybe I will!
Would u recommend playing bayonetta 2 directly, since I can’t afford the two pack plus I think 1 will be too dated
Yes absolutely! While I don't think 1 is dated at all, I did start with 2 and think it's a great game I highly recommend :)

I'll have to give that a shot!
