Buttery Hershey Thumbprint Cookies

Super Easy Thumbprint Cookies Recipe

INGREDIENTS (Yields approx. 24 - 30 Cookies)
(Preheat Oven 350 Degrees)
Cookie Dough
-3 1/2 sticks of unsalted Butter (softened)
-1 2/3 cup of sugar (also an extra cup of sugar for rolling cookies)
-1 Tbsp of Vanilla
-2 Eggs
-3 1/2 cups of flour
-1 tsp of baking powder
-1/2 tsp of salt
-1 12oz bag of Kisses
Toppings ideas(optional)
- White melting chocolate
- White chocolate kisses
- Jam/jelly
- Nutella

STEPS
Butter Mixture
- Add 3 1/2 cups sticks of butter into a bowl and cream with a hand mixer for 1 min
- Next add 1 2/3 of sugar to the bowl and mix for exactly 3 minutes at medium speed
- After butter and sugar is fluffy add 2 Eggs and 1 Tbsp of vanilla. Mix until combined and set aside
Flour Mixture
- Grab a bowl and pour in 3 1/2 cups of flour, 1 tsp of baking powder and 1/2 tsp of salt
- Mix with a spatula and add into the butter mixture ( I add 1/3 of flour mixture at a time and than stir until dough comes together)
Forming Cookies
- Grab about 2 Tbsp of cookie dough and roll it out into a ball
- Place cookie into a ball of sugar and roll it around
- Next, push a thumbprint inside your cookie dough ball and place your kiss on top (or whatever topping you like)
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 13-15 mins ( I like to bake it for 13 mins for a softer cookie)
