Chivalry 2 is an amazing game, but many maps aren’t on the horse playlist, so I recommend trying the 40 and 64 player modes
well escape from fallmire is one of those right so it seemed he did play without at some point
Honesty I only found it fun in the 64 player mode some of the other modes with less players truly had some scary good players, man I haven't played in awhile horses weren't even a thing yet, it was wayyy back when they added like a new map or something, only got out of it cause my Internet just gave me terrible issues whenever I played that game same with war thunder

Glad you found Chivalry 2, I've put over 250 hours into it and I've been playing since the early alpha playtests. This game has singlehandedly rekindled my interest in multiplayer games after becoming increasingly dissatisfied and fatigued with the modern AAA multiplayer scene.

You know what? This has got to be the best taunting system ever. You can literally have full conversation with the the voice lines because every "taunt" has 100 different voice lines. It's hilarious. And the cool thing is that there are rare ones that will happen. I played for so long and thought i did every taunt in the game, then I did the "Retreat" taunt and my guy said "Oy that's piss runnin down my leg...I'm outta here!" It was hilarious. When you utilize all of the mechanics in this game, it's actually pretty amazing
Nano, if you want to fast track your skills, get into dueling servers, you'll improve a lot quicker when you don't get randomly killed, plus its a good place to learn different weapons speed/timing
Unless you happen upon a level 800 PC duelist that hits you with some 1800 second long attack every time you hit

I like how the game makes you feel like you can hold your own against like four guys even if you only got the game 30 minutes ago. It’s really good at balancing like that.
Edit: obviously, you’re most likely gonna lose If you’re playing against a pro. My point is: if you are a brand new player and you go up against a pro, or you get jumped by two or more guys you can defend yourself and still buy time for your team so you don’t feel completely useless.

50% of time I die cause of some random teammates poking my a**
I once fended off 3 guys and killed a 4th in a duel a few seconds later, Roared a mighty battle cry, and then got hit by a catapult. Another time the Mason team was attempting a push through the front church doors and 4 Foot soldiers where holding them back, I ran up and swung my greatsword twice, killed 3 with the first swing and another 2 with the second, canceling the push, and then was shot in the head with an arrow. The point is that you will have the most 'main character' moments and then immediatly die 5 seconds later and it is more fun than anything ForHonor or most other medieval combat simulators will do.

Play it, the skill ceiling is pretty noticeable but guys that will put you in blender don't pop up often
its fun as hell idk what people are saying its in a rough state, i can find a match at 4 am. might not be filled during the day 64 player modes are always filled

I like the fact they put everything into just pvp. Great updates, great road maps, and the best of all FREE CONTENT!!! I agree a campaign would be great, but I hope Chiv 3 stays its own course and makes another great pvp only game.
Sounds make game really good and imersive. Every hit and every swing feels heavier. Random shouts and metal clanking really brings "nice medieval war atmosphere"

- 6:56, i magine if the land layout had an impact on your ability use; e.g, if you were running down a hill and chose to 'charge', you'd be able to barge though the enemy or a (natural/unnatural) blockage. perhaps rate for decline/incline had an impact on damage recieved/given?
Never did play this game! But it does have me thinking back to the days of Pirates, Vikings, and Knights! Now those were simpler, better days for sure!

I played this game on free trial when it first came out over a weekend and it was loads of fun but honestly I kinda forgot about it and it seems to have changed a lot
Chivalry is a great time. My first time playing, I found a cart of cabbages and held one over my head. I befriended the whole server and we all hailed the cabbages, Agatha and Mason alike. It was beautiful 🥺
