Livin Off The Wall bein the top choice of them all tho. But it's so refreshing to see other ppl who kno gud music. Especially wen it cums to Michaels catalog. I kno most ppl say Thriller is their favorite or Bad, becuz he was taking more of a pop route wit those albums. And don't get me wrong, I like Thriller too. But I honestly feel like, u can't like Thriller without likin Off The Wall. It was a foreshadow for everything that was about to cum. It had more soul to me too. Then my Mother bought me my very 1st BRAND NEW Album “THRILLER” the next morning (Christmas Day) to also play on my new Smurfs Vinyl Album Record Player. Did anyone else notice that the "O" in the Jackson's Triumph album cover is the shape of a brain with a distinct point of light coming from where the pineal gland is located? For anyone interested, look into the function of the pineal gland and the history of research in that area...I think with this, and with the message in "Can You Feel It", it was his first subtle signal to the world to wake up and become one.

I'mma say it: This to me is when Mike was most happy. He finally got a taste of superstardom on his own, wrote and released a project he wanted. AND still cut an album with the Jacksons brothers with little to no discourse among themselves or meddling from the press *Cough cough* Don King *cough*. Idk, This era and the Destiny - Triumph tours...I would give so much to see it all happen.
Obviously Thriller is where Mike became THE GOAT but things seemed so humble and free at this point..at least to me. In a sense...Thriller was (don't hate me) the beginning of the end. The rumors, the press constantly at Mike's throat, tabloids, then of course allegations..etc....he had TOO MUCH power....that's why I like this era the most. You guys do SUCH an excellent job of bringing these important clips to the public, these bites belong in a museum - I especially love the way that rather than just splicing random clips together, you weave it into a kind of nostalgic story, montage summary - makes me feel like I'm there, that I was watching it all unfold on TV s a kid (even though it was before I was born) kudos and thank you to you guys again! If there's something else I'd love to see, it'd be breaking down every month of when he released the BAD album - I believe that was a monumental time in Michael's life, and it was pure dynamite for the fans too.

Michael doing and being endorsed (more or less) by Disney seems like the only time a celebrity is happy with what they're advertising. So wholesome.

you can really hear how greatful he was from the bottom of his heart to be so appreciated by so many and so officially acclaimed as well, how tragically it all went in hindsight, I really hope its true that his vitaligo came first and that he didn't choose to change his skin, because man he had the best look at this time, just a born pop star, and then he transformed so much, so much that, I find it hard to really honestly believe, that he didn't have something to do with that skin colour decision, considering the way he chanced his facial features and hair style too, because ever less distinticly... black.

Omg I loved this video!! It really gave another look into how sweet and humble he was following his shot to solo stardom!! How can he be absolutely adorable singing at Disney World and in the next scene super sexy posing hiding behind his shirt being off. Thank you for this video from this 1983 baby!! Lol

My fav years of his was 1978 to 1982. I also think he was his most black (music wise) and beautiful at this age. I was born in76 so I was a baby then and he was my first tv memory in 79. I loved him so much then but as he became more pop, I became more of a Janet fan.
