- Toy Story Pizza Planet & Al’s Toy Barn at Disney MGM Studios.. Along with some bonus clips from Voyage of the Little Mermaid and the Playhouse Disney Bear and the Big Blue House show from back in 2001.
Long before Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios, Toy Story had a small section close to Muppet Vision 3-D and the backlot area. This little corner consisted of a hastily thrown together Pizza Planet restaurant and a recreation of Al’s Toy Barn from Toy Story 2. Walt Disney World’s version of Pizza Planet looked nothing like the restaurant seen in the original Toy Story movie, it was a former prop warehouse with some Buzz Lightyear theming and arcade games. Al’s Toy Barn was used for Buzz & Woody character meet and greets. There’s some pretty good history and fun facts surrounding Toy Story and Disney MGM Studios so maybe I’ll do a full video about it some day but for now, enjoy these vintage home videos!

Even though toystory land and galaxys edge are cool, i still miss the original.
Really enjoy Galaxy’s Edge, can’t say the same for Toy Story Land 😅 old school MGM will always be my favorite park

Good eye! I have many good memories playing SEGA’s Star Wars Trilogy here.. after riding Star Tours then going to play the game, it felt like I was in the universe!! Way before Galaxy’s Edge was even a thing haha
