This is the nice documentary on Channel 4 in 1999. To see Andi Peters voicing as Bagged handler number 1 in Toy Story 2 before the release of the movie in cinemas. Maybe he won the Oscar for voicing.
I saw something Toy Story 2-related and randomly remembered the special in which Andi Peters voices an airport worker. I searched for it, not seriously expecting to find it... and here it is. You really can find EVERYTHING on UA-cam!
I had this on VHS and watched it so often! Also Andi Peters looks the same age here as he does in 2023. I love how his voice cameo stands out so much in the movie, haha
I’m so glad I got to watch this. And this reached me all the way here in Buffalo New York in America. I have been showing all my friends and even my wife is impressed with this. It’s amazing how they make these movies and what it takes. As Steve Jobs said it took some people a year to recover from making this movie. I might only be a mere fan but I definitely appreciate the time and effort that goes into to these films. In fact Toy Story 2 is my favorite Pixar film at the moment. I would love to end up at Pixar someday but I’m on the opposite end of the country from where they are.
34:42 - Well... I guess Myself or even WE found a fun fact in this documentary! Now We all know who done that voice over for that man in the airport terminal, it was this man, hosting this documentary! 😊
18:44 john looks so pissed, he was clearly thinking “i just let you become immortalized in this out my own kindess and you really wanna change my script?”
Did time seem to go slower back then even for people who weren't kids? They're like "that's a LONG time" about 4 years. Also, they don't mention if it was intentional that the film basically has the same structure as The Empire Strikes back - they if course even include direct parody from that very film. It's kinda neat that the first Toy Story only featured the "Planning a Super Weapon" part about the SW parody lore of Buzz & Zurg, which was like Ep 4, and then they did ep 5.
Apparently this was back before people cared about spoilers lol they wouldn't show NEARLY this much of an upcoming movie nowadays. No way! Except for United Artists and Universal Pictures, of course. They're still giving pretty much EVERYTHING away in the marketing material, even to this day. (Seriously, the New, "Kong Vs Godzilla," trailer just dropped the other day and, people may as well just keep their money, there's so much of the story, the plot, and what's clearly the final concluding scenes right there for the World to see!) Sony did the SAME thing with Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, back in the day. They used some of the best scenes in the trailer essentially ruining the experience for people, most of whom weren't as sensitive to the potential of being spoiled as we have been since then. Some Production companies get it, (like Disney, the MCU and Lucasfilm, who don't give away ANYTHING before the movie's release date,)but unfortunately some are just more interested in sellers tickets than creating a memorable experience for the fans. Anyways, my point is made, I'm out! ✌
Damn, when Andi tried to make a change in his line RIGHT to john’s face then later tried to correct them on his character’s title, it made me cringe lol like bro so entitled smh I could tell John was annoyed with that
Woah, why does that movie they're showing look like toy story? Did they seriously blatantly copy that movie? Wow, unacceptable, Pixar should sue immediately. The audacity that they have...
Just like the way it would make zero sense if an American man worked at a British airport... Seriously, stop bringing up race like it matters, man! I get that free speech is free speech and I am all for it, especially when I disagree, but I just think stuff like saying what You said sadly divides people, and that's what Pixar or the people who work at Pixar or Walt Disney is all about! I hope I don't contradict Myself here, as I am not the virtue signalling type, I'm just speaking My mind, that's all! But other than that, I hope all is well for You, Dude! 😊
