This song reminds me of a really good friend of mine who passed away. I literally cry every single time I hear it. The first time I heard it, I was leaving the funeral home and ever since then, it kills me to hear this song.
My best friend recently passed away. In the loss of him, a group of friends started a non profit organization called Forever Adventure. We held a benifit concert and as i was on my way to one of the members house's to get everything set up, I heard this song on 89X for the first time as well. I almost broke down while driving down the street. Really is a remarkable song.
Its official, I met a guy today, and he was soo different than guys I am used to, but he was perfect, and I haven't lost this happy feeling in my stomach since meeting him, all by chance and laughing harder then i ever have. It is a long story, but he asked me about this band, and I didn't know who they were. This is the first I am hearing them, and I love them. I think I am meant for this guy. Holy Shit.
@MyChemicalPrincessss It reminds me of losing both of my parents,my mom in Jan and my dad in april of 2011..I'm glad you can relate and everytime 89X plays it, I usually start crying before the song is over. It's very powerful and I'm the one left holding the flowers of her life and their memories..
My ex husband is reminded of our 5 year old daughter who passed away almost 4 years ago by this song....I have to agree, she would have liked this....this song as well as this life! ;)
THIS BAND is awesome I got to see them when they opened for Ace Frehley and had the honor of meeting the band afterwards where there was no crowd to see them. NOW they are HUGE!!

I still cry listening to this because I do wish he could be here where he should have been. They didn't even save his seat at graduation. I wonder how many other people still think about him to this day.
@gingervsarentfun 89X is a detroit-windsor are radio station. A lot of us were introduced to this song (and thus the band) because the station featured it, both for it being awesome and it being made by local musicians.

Man, this both cheers me up and makes me feel close to crying at the same time. I haven't even had any heart rending loses in my life really, but that thought terrifies me. Whenever I hear this I want to talk to those friends it's been tough to keep up with since we all left for college, apologize to my parent for being a snarky jackass and ask my siblings how they're doing all at once. I also start wondering why I've ever thought of killing myself when there's so much to live for.
