Thank you so much Matthew. God bless you, you cannot possibly know how much you have helped so many people, literally saved lives, offering hope, faith, and the sincere, gentle, caring love. God truly lives through you, and I'm forever grateful for the blessing of coming to know you! Your words never grow old, each time I listen I hear in a new way and learn more, love God more, and grow stronger in my faith. Thank you!
I will keep you in my prayers Cynthia. Matthew is absolutely correct about brokenness. I recalled many on the people I encountered during my career as I watched this and thought of the countless miracles I was privileged to witness. I pray that you become another one! 🙏
Thank you for your words of encouragement. Brokenness leading to despair is so very true. Your words help to understand the why and inspire me so much.
Hello and Thank You Mathew. You and Dynamic Catholic are part of my daily life. I am so grateful, that a Brother in Christ, talked to me about Dynamic Catholic-and you, of course. Very appreciated!
Mr. Kelly, recently I began reading your work and watching your prayerful videos. So Good! Back in 2006 I was a professed Redemptorist, told to work in Boston by our Rector. The Pastor in the Boston Parish told me to go to one of your talks as a beginning. I missed it. Not long after, I was told that Redemptorist work was not for me. I was strangely hurt by this rejection (I didn’t fit in). Only recently have I come across your talks, your work. So Good! Reminds me of doing therapy for addiction recovery!
Thank u Matthew for giving me hope …. My family is broken 😞. We lost our 41 year son-in-law a few months ago … my daughter is so broken trying to raise 4 children by herself but I know God has a plan for our family … please pray for her
Wow! I may have heard the words that "we are broken" .. but I don't think I have ever understood how to effectively live and grow from that brokenness. Thanks Matthew!
My sister, who is Catholic, told me, who is not, about you. There have been very few times when a member of any church has touched me the way you have. I live in an area of the states that religion gives religion a bad name, they are so full of anger & hate. The first time a friend & I went to a church, after the first hateful, angry comment we looked at each other & got up & left. So, I'm a bit shy of organized religion. I ended up finding my spiritual needs & comfort from nature. I do believe in God, just not their sad & angry one. Right now my life seems very messy & told my sis how I was feeling. I must say, she said the right things & then mentioned you. Just to humor her, I looked you up and low & behold there you were talking about my mess. You speak more to my soul without treating my like I'm the dirtiest sinner because I don't attend your church. I even (gasp) subscribed to you channel.😏 So from my soul to your soul, a very deep & heartfelt thank you!
Thank you so much for these beautiful words of encouragement. They were so timely, inspiring and they fill me with hope. Matthew, your videos really help me to feel I’m not alone and different.
I had never heard of the Japanese wisdom and custom and as you described it dear Matthew, I could actually envision it. Wow. This is a very deep awakening talk. Thank you profoundly. 🙏❤️
As I listened to your message today on brokenness, I ask this faith-filled community to pray for a friend who has a 16-year old son with brittle bone disease. He has had several surgeries, but this last one has been extremely challenging. He is physically broken and after surgery is in a full body cast for the next 6 weeks. In trying to move her son, she wrenched her back and is in extreme pain. Her husband has had to quit working to provide hands-on care, 24-7. They now have over $5,000 in unpaid bills. They have applied for every kind of governmental assistance, but it is just not enough. Mom became so depressed she actually tried to take her own life. She is now under professional psychiatric care, but this family needs something more than medicine. Thanks for your prayers.
I have just finished reading "life is messy" and left a review. Every word chimed with me, with my life. Thank you! I have heavily underscored meaningful sentences, highlighted others, for quick reference. And it is going to be my Christmas gift to family and friends this year 🎉😊
I'm not a theologian (or Matthew). My understanding is that, as human beings, we are inherently flawed and will never be perfect. We are to strive for perfection, but that is only achieved when we get to Heaven.
I don’t agree with you about everyone’s brokenness and woundedness. I wear my brokenness like a flag! It’s made me better and I have zero embarrassment! We can be better than before after our brokenness. I read your book, Life is Messy and really wish you had given specifics about your three awful years in an otherwise amazing life! Three years?? You speak of how difficult this time was but never say why. You speak of disappointment and betrayal but never share stories of why and how. If you want to “ share “ your story, share your story!

A priest told me to go see Matthew Kelly live in Boston MA. I failed to make it, but was really not interested either. Oh what a MESS I made of it!
Should we expect this healing in this life or only in the next?
I am having major trouble finding this book. Please email it to me.
