I have seen a young man traveling to the US and providing us with kindness through books, social media, and talks around the world. God bless you Matthew
Kindness is Jesus shinning through us. Just like you and your son. I call that a God moment. Thank you for sharing that beautiful moment with us. Kindness is key for living our faith. 🌹
I recently gave a talk on St. Maximilian Kolbe. Through his example and your other examples, Matthew, I am given inspiration to continue to being kind to others even if I may not receive anything back from them. God Bless You. :-D
This little light of mine! Matthew, you are one of my most cherished Soul Friends. Your gift that you share wholeheartedly and " In the Arena" has lifted my spirits. I am in sorrow over front line Nursing in the Pandemic ( not the virus but how we in Canada are allowing ourselves to divide and seperate). Deep sorrow and hurt with my Government / Roman Catholic order with the genocide of Indigenous Children and their lack of accountability BUT your share has stoked my light of kindness and courage. The Earth has seen worse and its people grew to find kindness, connection and courage to navigate and rebuild. There is STILL hope for us all! To be the best version of ourselves and let our light shine ✨ 💖
Reading “Unbroken” right now. It’s about Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner, who was captured in a Japanese camp during WW2. Its amazing the stories in the book about how POWs shared the very little they had to eat even when they were starving and in the worst circumstances. Amazing.
Father Maximilian Kolby offers a powerful example of Christ's words ".. there is no greater thing than to lay down ones life for another" . And remember that we each are a child of God and His grace is always there if we ask for it to give us the capacity for kindness and self sacrifice. What a difference we can make when we open our hearts to God's love and choose to share that love.
What a powerful message! I taught as a theme to my Catholic school students about the Holocaust, year after year. This resonated well, especially in our global society. Thank you, Matthew Kelly!
Matthew, thank you 🙏. I ask God daily to fill me with kindness and light to help others around me. I have been feeling discouraged lately. This was the inspiration that I needed. You are a blessing.
Kindness and stepping up to help ... I just want to share a story about my grandson who was driving home on leave the week [from his Navy duties] this past Thanksgiving. He stopped at a gas station to fill the tank and as he stepped out of his truck he found himself standing in gasoline that covered his shoes and realized someone had walked away from their vehicle while filling up and the gas was just pouring out. He quickly went to the unit and hit the shut off button. He then went inside to inform the attendant of what was happening. The person did not have a clue and my grandson said "you NEED to get someone here right to clean this up right away. The attendant and whatever customer/s were in the store just stood there barely comprehending what he was urgently telling them.. My grandson walked out and drove away with windows open because his shoes were soaked in gasoline and he still had a long trip ahead of him and certainly he need to stay away. He didn't care or wait for a "Thank you for helping out" which didn't happen. My daughter and I told him how proud we were of his heroic actions and like most people that do "KIND & HELPFUL" acts., said "I'm not a hero ... anyone would have done the same". Which we know any # of others would have walked away because it wasn't "their problem". Just wanted to share an act of kindness that averted a potential major disaster because someone was NOT cognizant of their actions and GOD put. my grandson there to make a positive change. God Bless those that step up to do good in the world.
Even here in New York City, I have witnessed people come together to help one another in a time of crisis - such as 9/11. My only question has been why it takes a crisis to remember that this is the UNITED States of America and not the DIVIDED States of America! Kindness is contagious, so let's spread it around!
That was sensational! The true essence of humanity! Thank you for this video, you share your experience with such heartfelt passion and understanding. I too believe that God orchestrates what we need and provides it in such a beautiful way, to humble us and moves us with profound wisdom that we get a closer peek at the divine. You are such a gift & blessing to so many, thank you Matthew!
I don’t have many people like that around me. I have been thru deep sadness and sorrow. Usually it lessens only when I pray more and talk to God and pray the Surrender Novena. Rarely do people realize my sadness since I live alone and when with people I can put on a happy act. I am involved in a church with friends but most are very busy. Thank you for your input. 💜😊🙏
I work as a psychiatrist nurse practitioner and St. Maximillian Kolbe’s image is hanging in my office. Daily I teach his heroic act of love and kindness to any who ask who that man is in the painting. He is the patron saint of addiction.
It takes the same amount of energy to be kind or cruel. Kindness is good for the giver and receiver, too while cruelty harms both giver and receiver. Choose good.
@@MatthewKellyAuthor so happy you have read my comment..you continue to change and shape my life.. God bless you and your mission to humanity..a blessing and honor to live in your time!!🙏🏼👏❤ Amen

The man that gave his life at the cross to save me, and you; has made the greatest act of Kindness!!

Love that, very true.
You're a beautiful man Matthew! I love you my friend and brother in Christ!
God Bless you & your Children & wife.
I try so hard to be kind and loving. I am not always that way. I pray for it to come naturally.
True for us all
Our Lady appeared to Kolbe when he was 12 yrs old. She offered him two crowns- chastity or martyrdom. He told her he would take both. A great saint.

You're dancing around the real truth. Kindness is just one attribute of selflessness. The real message is to be, live and love selflessly.
Not sure I agree
Great teaching, a friend of mine sent me your channel in a text. Subscribed because the content is terrific
