Flippin' heck!!!! That's a lot of snow. We've only had a couple of inches here, and it only lasted for a week or so before melting away. There's been a lot more snow on the mountains though. Hope you're keeping well. 👍
Aww thanks for that. I'm glad you enjoyed the video and it evoked some happy memories. I'll certainly be using that camera position again. I was surprised to see how much the suspension moves, even on the smooth bits of the road. Maybe that's why it's such a comfortable bike to ride. 🤔👍😁
Yeah the sound was pretty shit tbh. I noticed later on that the fluffy thing on the microphone had been knocked mostly off. I reckon that was the problem. It probably happened when I was either putting my helmet on or off.
🤣🤣🤣 Now that would be good!! Another thing that maybe doesn't help is that I'm using an adventure helmet which draws a lot of air up from the open area under the chin bar. Even with the visor and vents closed I still feel a lot of air rushing up.
@@GermanJobbies It's a Bell mx9 adventure, with SIPs safety technology no less!! 🤣 Its not really the correct 'style' of helmet for a retro bike, but it has excellent visibility and safety, and that's what's important to me. I've taken the big peak off though. I'm not keen on the looks of those.
Yeah, I'm sorry about the audio. When I put my helmet on I knocked the dead cat most of the way off my microphone. I'll be heading along from Killin to Fortinghall and Loch Tay in the follow on video from this. The audio is a bit better because I'd recovered the mic, but it's till a bit blowy. I think it's because I'm using an adventure helmet and the large space under the chin bar draws up a lot of air.
@@the.just.able.biker67 didn’t spoil the viewing but I am always interested to hear what you are saying, particularly the comments about the places 😊 Thanks 😊 such marvellous places
Well thank you very much. I have a good old mutter about climbing mountains, paddling in the loch, singing friends and radio controlled sea planes as I'm riding along Loch Tay in the video that I'm editing just now. But the best surprise is saved for the end!!
great views thanks for sharing
Lucky to be able to ride this time of year... we have approx. 122 cm of snow on the ground! 😳🥶

Love that crash bar camera footage and the wind noise. Reminded me of trips as a sidecar passenger.

@@the.just.able.biker67 Yeah, the front is really compliant. The rear is a little harsher but nothing to scrike about.

It does have a comfy seat, so that probably helps dampen the harshness of the rear suspension.
😎😎Lovely run mate. Cam position was cool too, sound sucked a bit though.

@@the.just.able.biker67 A flip job? I had one and yeah they are a bit noisier. My HJC is not much better, it gets under too.
