How to Create a Progress Circle Chart in Excel - Dynamically Display Percentage of Completion

How to create a progress circle chart in Excel to use as a progress tracker and dynamically display percentage of completion towards a goal. This will be a doughnut chart that will show the percentage of a budget spent and will display in the middle of the circle and will dynamically update as your data is entered. We'll also format the chart to make it stand out. Then you'll see how to use conditional formulas to create the effect of having the progress circle chart update with different colors depending on the level of completion achieved on the tracker.

Be sure to download and open the file in Microsoft Excel.
Formulas used in this video include (remember to replace with your own cell references):
Percent Budget Spent: =Total Actual Cost/Total Budget Cost (convert cell to %)
Remainder: =MAX(100%,E7)-E7 (allows remaining % to go over 100)
Level 1 Max: =IF(E7 less than =D9,E7," ")
Level 2 Max: =IF(AND(E7 greater than D9,E7 less than =D10),E7, " ")
Level 3 Max: =IF(E7 greater than D10,E7," ")
