So she was on vogue cover so she did make it Made it much farther then alot of woman who including white woman Perhaps she should have received help for mental illness and I'm sure that's why she used drugs
Exactly Gia was never truly understood and loved or accepted so she changed herself and heroin helped her calm down and deal with those who did not accept her rough tomboy ways...Luna had to escape her race because she was so hurt by many and rejected .. I totally understand and you do what you need to get big n successful..I'm scared demons got Luna and poor Gia died of Aids from drug use..n sexual romps ..very similar paths here..

A globe trotting legend who lived the life of myth in a age of eccentric beauty!
Some of Erykah Badu features remind me of Luna’s.
This was very interesting, Kerri Hilson should play her 🎉 In the yes, Biopic😊
Eccentric looking is good , she was tapped into her higher God self
HBO is coming out with a documentary about her
This was incredible!!! Here’s another example of how much we as black people had to struggle for a place in this world regardless of how great we are.. I was a fan of Diana Vreeland but I was so disappointed in her.. The first black woman on the cover of Vogue..
I saw Satyricon and was imidiately captivated by her... truly powerfull aura 🎉🎉🎉
Sad anyway you look at.
Yes yes she is stunning!! Elegant and classy She could be a bondgirl
Thank you for making this. Thankfully there is a documentary coming out soon on the short life of this beautiful soul. 🕊❤️
The execution of the commentary should be practiced more. Awkward pauses in sentence format, and stumbling through pronunciations is distracting.
Very good information provided though! 👏🏽
You did an excellent job on this biographical video. Donyale was beautiful.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I can see the Keri Hilson resemblance but I can also see Erika badu or even a young Diane carrol.
Donyale was so otherworldly, mesmerizing and strikingly beautiful!
Wow! This was so interesting. Thank you! I want to know more about this woman!
Wow! People have been using all seeing eye symbolism for a long time. Interesting…… and died at 33 more interesting…… Luna moon meaning interesting….. 😐
Trauma changes the brain.
So she was on vogue cover so she did make it
Made it much farther then alot of woman who including white woman
Perhaps she should have received help for mental illness and I'm sure that's why she used drugs
Yessssssszzzzz A Movie Please....Keri Wilson To Play Her
She was magnificent! I’m sad that she lost herself in drug addiction but she lived her life
QUEEN OF THE LUNARIANS!?
I'm wondering if this is what inspired the movie Mahogany? She is very 😍 beautiful!
I read somewhere that she was the inspiration for that movie.
That was based on the life of Billy Holiday. What that have to do with the life of a model?🙄
YES,YES & YES let us hear & view more beautiful brown skinned models editorials & run way, male & female...
She needs a movie like Gia
Omg Yesss ❤
Exactly Gia was never truly understood and loved or accepted so she changed herself and heroin helped her calm down and deal with those who did not accept her rough tomboy ways...Luna had to escape her race because she was so hurt by many and rejected .. I totally understand and you do what you need to get big n successful..I'm scared demons got Luna and poor Gia died of Aids from drug use..n sexual romps ..very similar paths here..
I just googled her. She was beautiful.
it was a long time ago. that's why. But she bigger in Europe.
I like that flash of willow . She gives otherworldly ethereal vibes as well.. and Keri Hinson, Nicole Murphy
…
7:10 why are you calling her delusional 😂? She clearly looks mixed, especially with Egyptian.
Based on my research her family said so. Her husband as well. She looks like a light-skinned Black woman.
Seems like she didn't want to be known for being black. So if she isn't known for being the first black American model to be on the cover of a major magazine. Sounds like she got what she wanted.
Great job on this. So detailed.
HBO has a bio coming out.
Thank you and thank you for watching! 💜I just heard about it. I will have to check it out.
Good!!
She was strickenly beautiful!
Damn she was stunning!!
I can see Jada and Will Smith daughter Willow playing her in a movie.
This story reminds me of the movie Mahogany with Diana Ross 1975. Simular but the movie has a happy ending. Interesting.
I saw that too yes exactly I think Diana took her story n ran with it lol
My god, no wonder she became a muse to Dali. The first shots of her in this video where we see her movement in film. Transfixed.
Thank you 💕
I wish someone would make a movie about my sister Supermodel moviestar Donyale Luna Life ❤❤❤ Lillian D.Washington
Have you not seen the trailer for the HBO documentary on her?!?
She kind of look like Erikah Badu
This is interesting I've never heard of this lady before but she was definitely beautiful I know that much 👍💯💯
NOTICE THE 🖐 HAND SYMBOLISM !!!!
The timing of her passing #33
Some things are HIDDEN in PLAIN SIGHT.
Would encourage to check out these findings for yourself and respond.
Great documentary of this beautiful model.
I am not going to lie, I do not have the extra time to look into that right now but thank you for sharing that information and watching the video! 💜
There are quite a lot of "particular" symbolisms, I saw, I'm glad it wasn't just me..🙏
@@babygirldustin8876 same I noticed them too......
I noticed
I saw some illuminati signs thrown up too and for that reason alone I'm saddened and that is why she passed away quick..she might of made a deal to get famous quick and for that you will lose.."
Wow! Yep never heard of her. Thanks for the information🤓
You are so welcome. Thank you for watching!
Yes she should have a biopic her story is so captivating I never knew she was the first super model and it should be in history
I've heard of Donyale Luna before and she was fabulous.
Her hbo documentary was so sad. I wish her baby dad would have coddled her more. Or cut his family off. She needed that at the same time. I get why he didn’t those times were different. She was so beautiful her daughter is so pretty ❤
Man I watched it a couple weeks ago. I felt the same as you, and he definitely should have fought for her and defended her.
Paco Rabonne has a scent called Fame ! It smells delicious ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yes, she should be mentioned and acknowledged.
Thank you for your input and watching the video!💜
whats up with the one pics
She looks like Badu
Such an Elegant frame! Irreplaceble.
Donyale was the real first black Supermodel !!! ...
Yes, definitely.
Have Y’all Not Seen The HBO Trailer For Her Upcoming Documentary?!?!!??? 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I remember seeing her for the first time...I thought she was the MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN❤❤❤❤
