He's the best Actor from the golden age IMO. He wasn't the very best in one aspect, but instead was very good to excellent in everything he did; Romance, Screwball comedies, Western, War Films, Social Dramas, Historical bios, etc... He was clinical on screen (and off), and some may say to a fault, but the result is one of the most well rounded and balanced careers any actor can have.

I think Jane Fonda is a great actress and a profound activist - while she and her brother had a sad experiences as children - a mother who was bi-polar who committed suicide in a psych facility and a father who refused to talk about it, and actually was closed in his feelings. Both Peter and Jane worked hard and were great as people and as actors.
