You can add it to water during watering, it will also work, no problem, I used to do both, spray and watering

Fantastic video... can I hard prune my bougainvillea plants? They are about 10 feet
long and they have hardly any leave on lower part... they bloom well but not as much as your plant blooms... what is the right time of hard pruning? They are growing in ground and 3-4 years old.

End of winter , feb is best for hard pruning, if not done then let the hot summer over, wait for monsoon, when new leaves will appear, in growing time, but make sure its to be completed before winter.

Change the after little root pruning, keep indirect sunlight for 7-10 days, next branch pruning and additional fertilizer after 45 days, best wishes

This is not right time to prune or repot Bougainvillea, during winter add less water , only when upper soil get dried up, you can add fertilizers, Potash+DAP+NPK 20:20:20, (1:1:1). 10gm for 1 plant

Your mixture is best for rose plant, As I always try to avoid chemical fertilizer. I will recommend you my mix for bougainvillea.
