Definitely think the double sink in the bathroom is unnecessary. Really like the idea of a bigger oven and bigger stove top area.
Totally agree!
Hey Josh, really like this fifth wheel, one thing I’d like to see done is installing a tankless water heater, or having one as an option. The 16 gallon is nice for extended or multiple showers, however, that’s a lot of unnecessary water weight to tow around, or to have to drain before traveling.
Your worried about an extra 128 or so pounds? Open your low point drains and carry on. 🤷♂️
@@chrisnwilm Unnecessary weight is unnecessary weight.
As a bigger people I can appreciate alot of this
TY for watching and sharing, David! :)
If you can get one with a half bath, then one sink in the center, otherwise double sink so I can shave my face while my wife is putting on the make up instead of waiting for one to finish. Table & chairs for dining, because need extra space, the misses has a bad knee. Josh I thought that you said Cedar Creak was the best for full time or extended stay, keep’m coming
One sink installed on right. Sooo cool to have counter space when you want it. Love the shower.
One sink, centered. Shallow cabinet above it. Full floor to ceiling cabinets on either side. Possibly one of them accessible in the bedroom.
We live full time in a 2020 330rl...amazing unit!! I don't like that the couch windows don't open in this version, however. Besides the amazing bathroom, we love the plethora of electric outlets. We've only had appliances issues with ours, which we expected.
Josh! Just so you know, I and others in a senior women's camping group have referred a couple of people your way. We told them about your channel, how you are even-handed, and Bish's RV. She will likely be reaching out. You are well thought of in that group! :)
Oh wow! Thank you Susan!
@@JoshtheRVNerd You are most welcome!
I would prefer a single sink in the bathroom and the toilet facing the shower with paper holder on the end of the cabinet. Great video brother.👍🏼
There are a few things that manufacturers do that make little sense to me.
4" gaps in bathroom doors for "ventilation purposes".
Camp queen when a regular queen will easily fit. Maybe to make the bedroom "seem" bigger?
Double vanities. I can count the number of times my wife and I have needed to have the 2 sinks in our master bath at home on one finger and we live here every day.
Montana makes a quality RV for sure.
I'm a little surprised they didn't use a thankless water heater. I'm guessing you'll burn through a lot more propane keeping 16 gallons heated.
The option for a portable solar panel is awesome. You can buy a very portable 300 watt folding panel and really chase the sun.
2 sinks always in the bathroom. We also Always want a KING bed!
TY for the input!
Still my favourite towable house!
Great tour...
To answer the questions Josh asked...
1) Prefer a table to a booth. Makes playing card and board games easier.
2) Prefer a single to a double bathroom sink. Counter space, to us, is more important than individual sinks.
General notes on this model:
1) Why not a pocket door for the bathroom? It would seem to make a lot of sense...I'm sure there is some reason that escapes me.
2) I do like the docking center...not too fancy but very complete.
3) Driver side windows are perfect. :-) They simply aren't needed IMO...
4) Is there a multi-battery or lithium option available for batteries? Or is this more designed to have shore power?
Overall a very nice rig and on my short list of what we are going to consider as we start seriously shopping for our next rig in the next few months.
Bath pocket door would be my preference as well. Good call
A single sink near the door with counter space is what we would prefer. The heating vent is in a terrible location. It is too close to the shower where wet people will be able to drip water into it. If they went to a single sink they could use a half door cabinet for the door near the toilet and a wall vent for the heat below.
Very nice Montana High Country😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
One bathroom sink and floor to ceiling storage cabinet.
LOVE this RV! Plenty of space and storage. After reading some other comments, I can see the benefits of the double sinks in the bathroom. This unit still affords PLENTY of counter space. The smart tv is another huge plus! Beautiful unit! Thanks Josh!
I resemble that remark (bigger people). I am down with the table and chairs vs. booth. I like the double sink actually. Not too much less room in this one than our bathroom at home. If just one sink, I would say centered. I would definitely go with the generator on this unit. Smash your Pomeranian 😄🤣 I was gonna ask what's the difference was between Montana and Montana High Country. I am sure you said before, but I forgot. Thank you. Really like this one (I think I say that a lot). Thanks Nerd!
Don’t really need two sinks. Offset just one sink for maximum counter space. Good job Josh, finding me one under 40ft
EVERY window SHOULD open!
Josh, we would love ONE bathroom sink offset so we we could have alot of countertop space. My husband is 6'4" so this is something we'd look at.
We have the 2022 version and the few changes that have been made don’t improve what is already an excellent rv.
Thanks for your time knowing and showing us these different RVs... really helpful and you're appreciated 💯😁
My pleasure!
The High Country became a viable option to the full Monte when Keystone changed the slide out to a gear drive IMHO. Sure looks good, thank you for the updates Josh.
1 sink, offset right with just cabinet storage and a rimmed counter top wall to wall
I like it
I think there are a lot of young people who want a house but can't afford the prices. Rent costs are crazy as well. I can see someone buying this to live in for less than mortgage or rent. Have you guys tow it to their location, and instant home without having to buy the tow vehicle. You can get those insulated skirts for colder climates but idt most would be looking to purchase in those climates anyway. Not for me but I can see a lot of folks besides retirees getting these.
Even with apartment rents as high as they are they are still less expensive than living in an RV. RV spaces are through the roof in most markets and you have to factor in what you'd be paying for a loan on the RV. Even if paying cash for it. (How many months rent could you pay if you put $100,000 in a savings account? Much less invested it.) At the end of the day it is just a one bedroom apartment on wheels.
RVing is not a low cost option. Plain and simple.
A single sink is fine as long as you keep the large counter space .
would prefer one larger bathroom sink with more countertop👍
Great video always .
1 sink and make it double entry bathroom use pocket doors.
Thank you.
Great review. My 2018 Arctic Fox came standard with a 16 gallon electric/gas quick heating hot water heater.
So many fifth wheels have in essence the same floor plan, just like this one.
Yeah Arctic Fox is good for going beyond in a lot of areas like that. Things often unappreciated until you actually camp in one
I would prefer one sink
Great video Josh!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Come on Josh... you know what we want, what we really, really want... lol You teased, now show us the Imagine XLS 23LDE!!
It's coming! I swear!! I am buried under a mountain of footage but trying hard to get that one done. Give me a week or two!
@@JoshtheRVNerd Just kidding around. We've got time. We're not buying for a while. Waiting and hoping they go back to the old slides. Nervous about the Shwintek with all the problems we've heard.
Great camper & tour, again! Ty Josh.
Yup, the rona (gubbmint really) def messed up everything.
One sink, offset so that he shower can be bigger. A tub in a camper or trailer is silly. Tankless water heater is smart, if Electric is available
Table & chairs and single sink preferred.
Great bathroom design. Nice bedroom too.
With the theater seats extended it would be very difficult to walk past as it's so near the island.
My Birthday is next week! WILL I get my Sierra luxury 379flok? Lol! Probably not - but hopefully not too far off. Many thanks to you Josh for ALL you do - from me and hubby Charlie.
Maybe it’s just an optical thing on this video but I don’t see where the theater seating would block by the island.
I also haven’t tested it so what do I know
Maybe its because hubby's feet will hang off another 8-10 inches. We have this issue now going to the bathroom door when he's sitting in his theater seat extended out in front of the entertainment center. I've almost flipped over him a few times.
@@terryglover6361 Big guy. Fair enough! You certainly know your household better than I ever could and I trust your judgement! :)
Hi Josh!... I'd prefer one good size sink in the center with space on either side for items needed...
Noted!
I actually like the both
TY
I would like 1 sink and move the toilet over to center it to make more room.
Beautiful MONTANA SUPREME as USUAL. I would prefer one large rectangular bathroom sink off centered toward the door. You can beat your clothes/undidies in the sink and hang them with one of them there pullout clotheslines in the big ole shower. Heaven on wheels from Keystone! Thanks Josh, will in Florida
Ty for that bath feedback
Like to see one under mount sink offset to the right side and second floor to ceiling storage on the left side with a tip out laundry basket on the lower half. 😉
I like that idea..
Would love to see 1/3 of that huge under space storage turned into a do you lux camp kitchen
Not sure they still offer it but they used to have an optional slide out camp kitchen for that space
Those shelves above the bedroom windows are such a bad idea. Real bed sized tables that can hold a phone and a pair of glasses. I'm liking the north south beds more and more for the bedside tables.
One sink, more bathroom storage.
Great review
Ty!!
I love the interior color scheme. Not a fan of the floor vents. Table and chairs for sure. Forget the double sink, it's a waste. center a single sink. Oh, look sitting on the toilet you can pee in the floor vent. Hey, don't knock the combo washer/dryer ours works beautifully. Nice 5th wheel.
I'm in the "one sink" camp but I'm kind of torn between centered and offset to the right..
I would prefer a table had a booth in my last camper and hated it.
The light over the sink is a big improvement.
Nice to see what you’re doing!
I hate floor vents. Other than that it's pretty good. I would also prefer a 4 burner stove but I could live with that one. One sink in the bath by the door. Then storage cabinets/drawers replacing the other sink but have more countertop.. I also want an option for even a small tub. I hate the colors in this video or lack there of. It looks like an old black, white and grey tone B movie.
Fair enough. Ty for sharing
I'd like to see the removal of the linen closet near the shower or a smaller one in favor of making the shower larger, also extend the width of it.. I don't like feeling confined when taking a shower 🚿😜. great review, thank you so much!!
I think that shower is 50". Maybe it didn't show up well on camera. It's nearly the largest size shower commonly found in towable RVs today
@@JoshtheRVNerd I have seen some that have residential size tubs and showers though they are rare. being one of them bigger guys it is a creature comfort I enjoy.... truly appreciate all your great reviews, thank you 😌
One thing I would like trailer manufacturers to consider is an inter-connect between the two separate ducted air systems. The reason for that could be too fold in the event, one of the two air conditioning units, fails, or you have limited service and can only run one at a time
You can turn the interconnect off when you don’t need it
interesting..
the alignment of the speaker/stereo would drive my OCD crazy.
I’ll have to take another look
I bathroom sink.
Off center for more counter space
TY. I think I agree.
Table for me!
👍🏻
Josh, is there a hood system that vents to the outside above the stove like in other units?
I.. actually don’t see one. They’re relying on that ceiling vent fan it seems
Josh, have you done a Montana 311rd review? I am a lover of the Azdel but understand Montana doesn't use it. Is that a negative thing for Montana? I heard they produce their own type of Azdel product, is that true and is it just as good? Love your videos.
I haven’t been able to yet but hoping to get one
What is the largest generator KW wise can you get? Also is the Yamaha generator still an option?
Factory only offers a 5500. No other options. Aftermarket the sky's the limit though much larger won't fit.
Factory only offers Onan and prewires for onan. Anything else would be an aftermarket job
floor vents which everything including water falls into is ridiculous
2 sinks!
It’s 2023 almost and can’t believe we are still not tankless water heaters and 1 ac unit on a duct down the left and another ac on a duct down the right. Yeah two acs running on their own ducts and actually able to keep a rv at 72 degrees in Florida
I'm actually a little surprised montana didn't go tankless considering how many other brands have done exactly that
😎🇺🇸👍you the man!✌️
TY Rick :)
Josh; Love the interior style, but the carpet under the slide out areas (including the kitchen) is a deal breaker. Further, I saw vents in the floor, which is also unacceptable.
Clarification: there’s no carpeting on the main deck of this rv.
I could deal with 1 sink in bathroom but rather have a bathtub. I know they can be installed I just don't know why the rv companies don't offer one.
Popular demand calls for showers instead of tubs but that doesn’t mean they’re the preference for everyone
Hey Josh,
Tried to look at the Cedar Creek you mentioned in links, but it’s marked Private.
Send from my wife’s iPad
Whoops - must’ve gotten them out of order. It’ll be coming soon
Sorry about that
"Bigger People" - Does that make this the "Livin' Large" edition?
LOL! Well played! :)
Table,Residual freg.
Hi Josh! I've been wanting to ask you this question for years: Are there any RV Companies that will make a semi custom floor plan or leave out things you do not need? My Example: I do not need all of the high-elegance items like chandelier lighting, stone counters , etc... ? I want an RV with no lofts, 2 distinct rooms, no built in bed space, and a small office. IS there such an animal?
I basically want an unfurnished house. Too hard to do, you think?
Not really, no. If you saw how RV production works, then you'd understand. Everything needs to be the same. RARELY they'll agree to just leave out a sofa or something but I'm not aware of any mainstream company that can/will do what you're describing. It's not like home construction where you can individualize components and fixtures. Basically they use what they use.
There are custom builders but the price tags start extremely high and only go up
luxe will do that, but they start around 120k.
One Centered Larger sink!
TY
>>-----> Uncle Josh
So odd to not put side boxes around the bedroom windows like in the living area. This is where I want complete privacy from outside and better shade from Sun in the morning.
One center sink.
TY. I'm in the one sink camp too. But I wonder if centered vs. offset to the right is the better way..
Either way feels better than dual sinks with one in front of a toilet
Single sink not in center in bathroom, table, chairs also
I “see the square” just how loud is that air?
I don't have decibel measurements sadly. It seems like every MFG today is claiming they somehow all have the best and quietest A/C system.
Keystone Montanas and Cougars use their new "Blade Pure" air system. Here's THEIR story:
► The square you see uses a residential filter for better air quality
► The duct work they're using allegedly outputs more cubic foot per minute of air
► The vents they're using basically pull the air out of the vent into the body of the RV more effectively
► They use more vents per square foot which reduces total turbulence and noise
Unfortunately I have never had the opportunity to just line up all these air systems and crank them on to see who REALLY lives up to the hype.
Table and chairs please. More flexible that way. As for the 1 or 2 sinks question, I don't care either way.
Table
have not seen anything Sansui since cheap aftermarket radios in the 1970's; not exactly a pro IMO and surprising since they used a GE fridge but then go with an off brand TV? Not sure about the grey portion of the island, that looks cheap from the video but may be better in person. Like the bathroom and undecided on the single or double sink. Not a fan of the headboard design, reminds me of the Fine Jewelry counter at Walmart (really?). Overall, I like the 5th wheel.
the walmart jewelry counter comment got me like 🤣
Hey Josh. Great video. I have the '22 version. Made the best slightly better. I like the improved stove and larger hot water tank. What was done with the new audio setup is an abomination. Eliminated storage and definitely not as stylish as the '22 model. And finally, Josh only the Montana series has 6 point leveling. Not the high country series.
Most high country models are 6pt leveling
Only the few smallest are 4pt
I'd rather see dining room table and chairs.

This is nice. So refreshing to not see brown on brown on brown.🤮 I was a child in the 70's. I've had my fill of brown. Thank you very much.
One small thing to point out. The double sink in the bathroom. If you're both using the double sinks the same tim. One person will be backed up to the toilet. Not my idea of a good time. If you're in a full-time RV are two people going to be washing their hands at the same time in that bathroom?
I don't even see that happening very often with homes.
So 2 sinks become 1 person uses one sink and the other partner uses the other. Typically they're the more disgusting one who never takes the chunks of toothpaste for example and makes sure it goes down the drain. Lol
The 80’s had its share of browns too
Definitely Two Sinks:
Ty
Need a bunkhouse, family has to move and need full time living for us
Here’s a few m.ua-cam.com/video/v7eJ6_yyLvY/v-deo.html
m.ua-cam.com/video/DqnLilxXfwY/v-deo.html
Toilet paper holder?
99% perfect👍but I have to say that it is much easier to wash your face, brush your teeth and shave in a sink that is not crammed into a corner🙁and a standard Dollar Store 4 inch fart fan is ridiculous for a $100,000 RV👎
This is nearly the same as a 2021 Yukon 400RL. Can tell you the craftsmanship will be lacking for the amount you pay.
I DON'T like the headboard, I would rather have a window!
for that particular RV the double sink is meh okay. I find it unnecessary because I've never going to be in the bathroom with my partner.
I much prefer more counter space and a larger sink.
it's smaller bathrooms the double sink thing is so stupid I saw an RV this weekend cuz we're looking to buy and it was double sinks but there was zero counter space for anything that was a deal breaker for that RV even if I would have liked it I wouldn't even consider it
Ty Karla
I'm just not a fan of the double sinks ... I do however like a pass-thru bathroom. Our current 2020 MHC 295RL and our earlier 2017 Jayco FW have/had the pass-thru bathroom.
Floor vents in a Fiver like this? They MUST be WAY out of touch.
Actually I’ve done polling. Majority of 1st timers could go either way.
65% of return buyers prefer them for how they function. Many state they just cover them when not in use
But I think it’s also safe to say the market is going carpetless as well
One sink, off set
Ty
