Ginger, it was wonderful getting to spend this evening with you, watching you create this beautiful painting. My set of Golden Maple brushes arrived today; I can't wait to give them a go. I'm so glad you, Jon and the "stuffy staff" are safe and have power again; fingers crossed soon you'll never have to worry about that again. Here I can get a copy of our plat map from the county office where we pay our property taxes, maybe TX has a similar system. Thank you Ginger and Jon for sharing your evening with us. TTFN HAH 🎨🖌🫶

So sorry i missed tonight...was so looking forward to it...had to make a birthday dinner for my son though. I just bought the Golden Maple brushes last week and I love them! Hope to get back to the easel this week while the grands are away. This painting is gorgeous and I can't wait to give it a try, but again you are doing this looser style that I find so hard so mine may take awhile.

I have no idea what one egg to the pan means. Does it mean that you loose an egg due to it sticking? Mine never stick but I am a great cook. Thanks for the video love those new brushes and of course had to get some. Like I need more brushes. Oh my….it is so hot here in Calaveras County California, I have lost several plants/trees that I have had for twenty years. So sad, can’t imagine no AC for a day let alone a week.
The expression "add one for the pan" when cooking scrambled eggs likely comes from traditional cooking wisdom. The idea is to add an extra egg to the mix to account for what may be left behind in the pan or to ensure there’s enough to serve everyone adequately. This practice ensures that there is sufficient quantity after accounting for any loss during cooking. It’s a way to be generous and avoid ending up with too little food. (our power went out again right after the show for about 3 hours.. but is back on now.)
