Hi Asian K.Y how do you feel about this kit nearly 1 year later? Personally I'm sold. I've been looking and researching and I believe this kit is for me. It definitely has the sounds & the quiteness factor for home practice but also has the looks of the acoustic drum kits. Thanks heaps for the review, I'm converted 👍👍👍
Hey Brett, to be honest it's great kit that has realistic feel to it with good quality build, after around 7-8 months I sold it because I needed to money so I downgraded to a Yamaha, after a couple months of purchase the new owner said he had some issues with the kick pedal trigger, you definitely need to use a soft beater with this set I feel after him telling me that although I really never had any issues, hope it helps 👍🏻
Hey man how's it going? I listened to what you had to say and kept researching my options but I bought this kit today and have it set up and been playing, only just stopping now for something to eat. Like a kid at Christmas I just want to play with my new toy. I feel the guy you sold the kit to may just have been unlucky? But I figured that could happen with just about anything.. In short just wanted to give you a heads up that I bought the kit, I won't hold you responsible for any issues, I bought it myself. Feels great, sounds great and I'm sure I'll be thumping away for years to come. Cheers again for your video and honesty. I'm really happy its a solid kit and was impressed in the shop. I haven't blasted it through speakers at home yet so I still have that to look forward to. Thanks again, cheers and all the best..

That's a hard comparison, both kits have unique features, but the Roland has a better second hand market, so it's easier to sell if you ever want to change it in the future, but if you are thinking of something with a better feel around the pads Artesia is a better choice, i still encourage you to try both of them at a local store if you can :)
I'm pretty sure you can connect a double kick pedal to this stand, I mean it's a pretty standard stand, you may have to keep kick beaters closer to eachother but I'm sure double kick is possible

q from a total nube here. I tried this kit in a store and like it but the computer was up at full volume yet it wasn't particularly loud through the headphones. If i wanted to play this live in a cover gig would the PA system at the venue be able to boost the signal from the computer so that it makes a punch in a live setting? What would you say about this model in general as a live music option? (funds and experience are farely limited as you can tell lol)
To add on this comment of yours, you need a good stereo headphones for these, I use the behrihger recording headphones you can check from the description box in my UA-cam videos, because you're gonna go out through the stereo output of the drum module, PA will definitely give you a better advantage if you're willing to use this live (btw dtx-402k is only mono and you would have to run it through audio interface to use vst plugins to PA) , cheers

Hi, this drum set is rare, I am looking for a edrum for my children, I was looking for Alexis Crimson 2 se until I found this Artesia A250, it looks great and sounds more like acoustic drum compare to other brand in this price range! I also found that there is no 2 zone on the toms and can’t add more drum pad or cymbals, I am not a drummer so if I may ask is this a problem for drummer? In this price range, do you thoughts A250 is the best choice ? If I want acoustic drum tone! Thank you.
The A250 has some realistic tones yes, the 2 zone thing wasn't an issue for me when i was playing , as i remember though the snare had 2 zone functions, i think it's a great mid-range kit, and for a beginner this set is quite advance, the A250 is a more economical model of the EfNote E-Drum series, i liked the acoustic tones of the A250, you can also consider the ATV EXS-3CY near this price range 🙂
The build quality is as good, but the main difference is the module, it's probably more limited when compared to the efnote 5 :) but it's definitely not trash, the sensitivity etc. is great
As I know, in the US & Canada it goes under the name EF Note 3, the version sold over there is slightly modified to the one sold here in Europe, so I think you'll need to look under the name EF Note 3

@@drummer93uk It has the same pads that the Efnote 3 (or 3x too), maybe less triggers inside them. The multi triggers system seems to be very important.
the difference is the drum module (I don't know if this is strong), the cymbals (the efnote 3 has 360° cymbals, the hi-hat pedal is different, has the lambda stands system (not rack) and other differences. Obviously, is more expensive.
@@sergiomataloni802 EfNote series is focused for the US Market and it costs around 2.000 $, the Artesia is obviously a more affordable kit, going around 1.000 €, the pads are very similar as you said, but the significant difference is the module and cymbals, the triggering & sensitivity of the pads & cymbals though on these drums are very efficient that's one of the reasons why i choose them

Today tested it in Frankfurt, Germany. Another man tested too and bought that Modell using it for music in Churches. I felt good to play it.

I got the efnote 5 and love it but was considering this for a portable set. How is it any good or trash?

Actually the bluetooth apparently doesn't work for the phone so i am not sure why it is there :D
