My Luke Skywalker video has a few more details on the electronics I used but doesn't go into much detail. If it's just lighting up you should check out the Adafruit NeoPixel Uberguide, it covers everything you need to know. If you want sound too there are loads of normal lightsaber guides about that can be used. Again Adafruit have a pretty decent guide, just search "Adafruit Prop-Maker Lightsaber".

Thanks for your kind words. It's a good question about the lightsaber colour. I haven't tested a full size red one so can't say for sure. I suspect the animation of it going on and off wouldn't work so well with a solid colour. It's kind of hard to show the colour accurately in video as the light from the lightsaber is pretty bright but in person it looks very red. I will test it out though.

LEGO the company can get pretty funny about 3D printing, especially anything to do with minfigs. For example the 3D printing channel agepbiz had all his Lego related files deleted from thingiverse a few years ago. The instagram account 3d_encounter used to print loads of minifigs but Legos legal team put a stop to that and he deleted all his posts. So it's just safer not to share the files.

@@TheHuma0815 I don't know exactly but I think just over 2kg of filament. For stuff this size I normally use 10% infill and 2 perimeters with a 0.6 nozzle or 3 with a 0.4.

These are awesome, I just purchased an ender 3 pro and getting to make some projects. How did you get these as tall as 58cm? Any file I've found are much smaller
Most slicers allow you to scale the model to a size that works for you. You might find though that if the model has parts that move when you scale it a lot bigger or smaller they wont fit as well. You might need to make some adjustments. Also some files will have all the parts to print at once but as you scale up they wont all fit on your print bed in one go so you need to split them into single parts to print one at a time.
It's just a normal inkjet printer and I printed onto some white glossy sticker paper. I have used water slide decal paper in the past too. The water slide decal paper goes around curves better and doesn't seem to lift at the edges so easily. To make the graphics I just use photoshop and build it up out of basic shapes (illustrator would probably be better I'm just used to using photoshop).
I do most my modelling in Cinema 4D but I'm planning to move over to blender. I will find/take reference images and also find reference models if I can and then just work from there.

As far as I'm aware there isn't a file available for the helmet. This one I built myself and don't plan to share the STL, sorry.
