IV will always be the one for me! I was 9 when it came out and was introduced to it by an older neighbor, it was my introduction to their music, it was power magic and mystery and forever changed my life.
You're wrong. Their worst after Coda. Can only assume you're a child of the 80s or later. Presence. Graffiti. I. IV. III. II. Houses. Remains. Door. Coda.
So hard to pick a BEST album from Led Zep!!! I will say this- I love ALL of their albums and definitely have them in my top 10 of all time bands. I’d probably say Physical Graffiti is my favorite. IV is amazing but suffers because I listened to it so much when I was younger.
Led Zeppelin's Best Album? Their masterpiece is Led Zeppelin IV, Period. But with that said, their first debut album, Led Zeppelin recorded in October of 1968 was a game changer in music, Period. Every album in their catalog is great, and I mean just that, every album. Some were better than others and a few took decades to be appreciated. People will choice their 'best album', bottom line is all the music those four talented musicians made were phenomenal, those four together credited a 'fifth entity' which became Led Zeppelin. 🎸🎤🎸🥁🕶️
Well, now i don't have to say the obvious! What is the best Zep album, depends on your mood! Looking for hard driving, Zep 1, looking for ethereal, Physical graffitti, looking for dark, Houses of the Holy, looking to be lifted, Zep 1V, looking to chill Zep 3, the list just goes on! There is no "best", they ALL are!
Good choice, 3 is underappreciated. Love the blend of electric and acoustic guitar, most of the songs are quite haunting. Creativity through the roof!!!!
I agree their masterpiece without a doubt is Led Zeppelin IV, with that said without their first debut album Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin would not exist. Those Four musicians together, the sum of their parts created a fifth entity, which was called Led Zeppelin. 🎸🎤🎸🥁
The Ruins album as we called it long ago. No weak tracks whatsoever. Rock & Roll, Black Dog, Battle of Evermore and When The Levy Breaks are my personal favorites.
Physical Graffiti #1 ... after that, tough call. Presence is great, and criminally underrated. Least favorite, In Thru The Out Door. Song Remains The Same... epic, prime Zeppelin, and some of Jimmy's finest moments.
24:32 Vanilla Fudge big hit was 'You Keep Me Hangin' On' and 'In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida' was Iron Butterflys monster hit ... but, oh well, whose counting. Booth were HUGE hits, just different genres. 'Led Zeppelin / Iron Butterfly / Guns 'n Roses ... and the beat goes (went) on.
Physical Graffiti. btw - I simply cannot get my head around how most people/reviewers slag Presence (mainly because it's not as diverse as their other albums). What I hear is a band that was at the top of the world when multiple disasters hit - increasing violence at their shows, Plant's car major car accident, heroin starting to take Page over, Bonham becoming drinking more and more, and Jones wanting to leave. I can hear and feel the frustration coming through in the power of their playing both individually and in sync with each other on Presence. Then add in the changes, advancements and fresh stuff - Page realizing his "guitar army" (13 guitars are layered on Achilles Last Stand), Jones modernizing his sound by using an Alembic 8-string bass, arguably Bonzo's best drumming, Plant's lower range (due to surgery) but overall better singing. It absolutely kicks a__ and is totally killer from end to end.
I just wished they had included the next album which, I believe, was houses of the holy! Masterpiece! Produced by Jimmy page! I know the production stepped up to the next level, and it may have been considered, as not, as rock ‘n’ roll, as the previous four albums, but, to me, that was their masterpiece of all masterpieces!
For me, Presence is the 1 album where every single song is very good to fantastic. All their other albums have 1 or more eh eh spots, here & there. For instance, Houses of the Holy is probably my absolute favorite album, yet I always end up skipping over the meh "No Quarter"...."Tea for One" is my favorite bluesy song of theirs." For Your Life" is so so damn great!
In Order Debut Led Zeppelin Physical Graffeti Led Zrppelin ii Houses of the Holy Led Zeppelin iv Led zeppelin iii In through the out door Presence Song remains the same
I think they are all great. But Presence was my favorite . Probably because I had worn out several copies of the rest of their albums. CODA and In Thru the out door where great and the end of their days as ZEP .. They didn't record a bad album. And Jimmy page remastering the old stuff over the years the sound just gets better.
Although I highly praised Led Zeppelin 2, I truly believe after listening to every album in order or in Jack Black's words the Zepeithon, Led Zepplin " Physical Graffiti " to me is my choice for there favorite album, not only because it's a double album but it was released when I believe Led Zeppelin were at there peek artistically and popularity wise. The diversity of the songs on that album were profound and enjoyable to listen to. Kashmir was so powerful and mystical that I chose " Physical Graffiti. " Xoxo, David Allen Drotar. #ddrotar #rockhall2024 #rockandrollhalloffame 🙂💕🎼🎹🥁🎸🎤🎛🎹🔊🔊🔊🔉💥🎶🎵🤘👍
Physical Graffiti was the beginning of the end for the band,Presence has some great tracks and some not so good songs on it and ITTOD wasn’t very good at all and in my opinion Coda was better but as a band they peaked on Graffiti
Since we are being asked, not that it's going to change the way I am regarded in sick Society, as a cult he-ro, otherwise- it's Physical Graffiti if a collection of events is an Album that's spanning a period from || through Houses (if not also Presence where I can see a few ideas from the bag o' tricks for the first time getting the treatment due. As a 'proper' LP- Houses or Presence, but as a release w/a title, Catalog #, the treatment FOR an album release w/the use of Studio time as normally done [Start> Finish] to achieve the LP. So imho- Houses for LP but Physical as a released album.
Physical Grafitti. Followed closely by Presence. But the worst thing Zeppelin ever did is atill better than what 99.5% of what other bands have put out. Even Coda and In Theough The Out Door.is better than anything out.today
I find all the Zeppelin lp's flawed for one reason or another. They couldn't seem to make that perfect album. Maybe that would have been Physical Graffiti if it were trimmed down to a single album. So, I think Houses Of The Holy is the best of them all. It's the least flawed.
I get that…but you gotta remember at the time we had never heard or seen anything like that before…and there was no internet…there was way more mystique about bands and albums
Dominated from 68-80 ..... Ruled the seventies , 3 hour plus concerts , sold out concerts thru out the 70's , 300 million records sold , music is still relevant today , all different styles of music .. blues , celtic , hillbilly , hard rock , balads , countryside , regae , indie . Inspired millions , lots of jealous opposition , four master musician 's . Unrivaled period !!!
The best Zep album is whichever one I'm listening to at the time. It's all in the ear of the beholder
For me Zeppelin 2 holds the best melodies and memories. What a force of nature they were.
Same here. The Brown Bomber brought me in and still holds up end to end.
Can you say "THE LEMON SONG". Rumor has it that that song is where Jones and Bonham gelled together to become the BEST rhythm section in rock history.
I love all the albums of Led Zeppelin!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟❤❤❤❤❤
My personal fave is Houses of the Holy, but Physical Graffiti is probably their finest work.
💯 %
Their is no BEST album for Led Zeppelin... no way... all of their music is the best of the best everyday.......
My favorite album changes all the time. Right now it's physical graffiti
Led Zeppelin II, IV, and Physical Graffiti stand above the rest. However, I think all of their music is great.
IV will always be the one for me! I was 9 when it came out and was introduced to it by an older neighbor, it was my introduction to their music, it was power magic and mystery and forever changed my life.
The Sound track from The Song Remains the Same is awesome
Pretty strong catalog when you could pick any one of them and not be wrong
In through the outdoor is a masterpiece. Perfect in every way. It's their swansong.
AMERICA LOVED THEM! I WAS THERE!! ❤❤❤❤
Robert Plant has a distinct, very special, rocky powerful voice! There’s only one Led Zeppelin!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟❤❤❤❤❤
Zeppelin 2 . The quintessential .
Led Zeppelin's Best Album? Their masterpiece is Led Zeppelin IV, Period. But with that said, their first debut album, Led Zeppelin recorded in October of 1968 was a game changer in music, Period. I have to say III was the ground breaker and is the only studio album I still listen to today.
Good choice, 3 is underappreciated. Love the blend of electric and acoustic guitar, most of the songs are quite haunting. Creativity through the roof!!!!
I believe that Physical Graffiti was their best record but when I was younger I thought that Houses Of The Holy.
I guess im the only one who thinks number 1 is number 1😅
If I was FORCED to pick a fave, that would be it! Amazing album, as they all are in their own ways...Zep I is probably the one I listen to the most
@@ilovenaps1297… same here. LZ I has always been my fave
My favorite Zeppelin album is usually the last one I listened to.
Regarding II, IV, PG and HOTH please let me underline the funky joy of Presence and the maturity of In Through The Outdoor.
Asking "What's the best Zep album" is like asking "What's the best car by what manufacturer".
IV is their greatest as it’s a perfect album. Every track is a banger.
In Through the Outdoor. #1 👍
I agree their masterpiece without a doubt is Led Zeppelin IV, with that said without their first debut album Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin would not exist. Those Four musicians together, the sum of their parts created a fifth entity, which was called Led Zeppelin. 🎸🎤🎸🥁
III. is best. Since I been loving you. 👍
The Ruins album as we called it long ago. No weak tracks whatsoever. Rock & Roll, Black Dog, Battle of Evermore and When The Levy Breaks are my personal favorites.
The Brown Bomber (2). Onlya because its not fair to pick the double album.
P Graffiti Album one and Houses are not far behind.
Best? Many to choose from.
Physical Graffiti #1 ... after that, tough call. Presence is great, and criminally underrated. Least favorite, In Thru The Out Door. Song Remains The Same... epic, prime Zeppelin, and some of Jimmy's finest moments.
Zeppelin 4 is a perfect album!
24:32 Vanilla Fudge big hit was 'You Keep Me Hangin' On' and 'In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida' was Iron Butterflys monster hit ... but, oh well, whose counting. Booth were HUGE hits, just different genres.

Thank you for sharing this
PG, Zep IV, HOTH, Presence, Zep 2, Zep 3, Zep 1 & ITTOD
Zep II then presence for me .
You sure got something right!!!!!
1. LZ IV
2. LZ II
3. Physical Graffiti
my holy trinity of Zep's best albums.
Studio = Graffiti, but song remains the same is my fav
🕺🏻💃🏻🎃Rock 'N' Roll!!🎃💃🏻🕺🏻
Ever since, whenever producer is mentioned I think Jimmy Page.
Physical Graffiti. btw - I simply cannot get my head around how most people/reviewers slag Presence (mainly because it's not as diverse as their other albums). All of them!!❤

Physical Graffiti is my favourite but 2 , 3 and 4 take some beating 🎶

I think 4 is probably the best, but I like 3 the most.
Physical Graffiti in my opinion.
Physical Graffiti. No debate
Three
The one that has a cover of Jake Holme's Dazed and Confused on it.
The Song Remains the Same for me
They’re all great of course, but if I were limited to just one, it would be 4.

Led Zep V. 1972
Wasn’t V houses of the holy?

"In their own words" yet other people talk throughout the video!
I don’t need to see the video physical graffiti, of course
Without their second
Album led zeppelin
Could never become
A rock Legend
Surely they themselves
Are aware of that
Led Zeppelin I knew when I purchased any album it was going to be a quality product. I knew too they were lousy live I mean awful.Great albums though
Physical graffiti
They are all cover albums
😮What😮 !!!
I don't get the hype, nope. Sorry.
Probably before your time huh?
I get that…but you gotta remember at the time we had never heard or seen anything like that before…and there was no internet…there was way more mystique about bands and albums
Why are you here then??
@@eddiejr540 that's true, i think the mystique made it much better and more fun.
