- Welcome to a new Stardew Valley mini-series! We'll be speedrunning the different rooms in Stardew Valley's community center one by one until the very end, where we'll tackle a full community center Stardew Valley speedrun! Today's target is the boiler room.

I can't imagine anyone better to watch as they're learning how to Speedrun, so satisfying. I'm also amazed at how consistently you're uploading despite how hectic your schedule is IRL, you're not losing too much sleep are you? In any case, thank you for all of the content and keep up the good work.

You picked fruit bats and slept for like a month but then didn't harvest they cave when you did your 27th forage round up. I'm sure the fruits and then the back up fall seeds would've been plenty for the sub 40. I believe in the run for next time!

So I don’t know much about like the specifics of speed running and how up to date or accurate it is but on speedruncom the top speed listed for the vault is 43m 41s which you beat so I think that’s definitely a win and that you did a great job!!

I would love to see a video about your process for doing this like how you research what run how to get started. Since its so much more relatable to see someone starting out

If you wind up coming back to this one, it might be worth checking out the Winter Forage Farming method. With Animation Cancelling, a lucky blueberry run with lots of rain days and really good cancelling, you can absolutely demolish any Winter Forage run, but Winter Forage is comparable to a run without crazy luck, and there are so many fewer variables. Just a thought, love the series btw :D

Hey Therm! You killed it with this run! Wondering if you couldve used some of the fruit from the fruit bat cave to help you with those few thousand coins you needed at the end? If there was a reason why you didnt use them I was just curious :) Love your vids!
One of the things you should try to do to make extra money is using the seeds to make green tea saplings. Now I don’t know if you’re able to skip cut scenes because it is a pretty long cut scene happy to go and visit Caroline to get the recipe to make a green tea sapling but green tea saplings only require seasonal seeds, fiber, and wood and they sell for an awful lot of money. I’m not a speed runner though so this may actually not help you at all I just wanted to mention it.
From now on I will refer to all speedruns as Franken-Speedruns and nobody can stop me

Stardew is supposed to be a relaxing village life, but so many aspect of it need so much time budgeting. Speedruns like these are both exciting and just not-relaxing. I feel as a community we are proving playing this game well is the antithesis of its premise.

Seeing those blueberries get killed HURT. I hate when I do that, it's why I love the fishing bundle reward, because then I can just keep the pan always equipped, and not destroy my crops.
Though with the money shortage RIGHT at the end, I'm confused. Could you not have saved a little bit of time by selling the wood you had to Robin, and saved the time you spent running to Pierre's the second time?
