Brilliant video for a brilliant tune , very much a learner on the guitar but with your help I have really got on top of it and sounds great , huge Weller fan and this is probably my favourite closely followed by Clues or Back in the fire . Or Above the clouds , oh I forgot English Rose .. Bollocks there's too many to chose , thanks again Steve ..
Thanks for a great post. Lifelong Jam fan but very much a novice looking to step up a bit and this is something for me to aim at. I don't find very much of Weller's stuff easy!
Thanks Pete, Yes agreed some Weller stuff is not so easy to master, but, may i recommend Wild wood, Liza radley and You Do something to me as relatively easy weller/ jam songs that i have done tutorials for. There's also Brand new start which is nice to play. Good luck with your playing, Thanks again;)
Great tutorial. Really easy with that camera angle to see what you're doing. I'm a bit ham fisted on the strumming for the chorus though. But I'll get there.
thanks sean, yes its on of those things, you have to create some muscle memory by just playing over and over again sometimes. My missus gets completely fed up with some songs i play. Especially if i'm having trouble getting them right!

Wicked Steve ...me second favorite Weller "Butterfly" song albeit I think the lyrics are about him getting stiffed by unrequited love ...happens to us all at some stage doesn't it :-) So any chance ya could pick what's it like to walk amongst butterflies for yer next very accomplished insight ?
Love your style Noel, so you go from a relatively simple song to a pretty complex arrangement. Sweet....Lesson 1 .....to lesson 51 in one giant leap. That takes you from being a beginner guitarist to a proper Weller fan i would think. I've not done this song before (must have slipped through my radar) so will work on it this weekend. May have something for you soon......Cheers
