Thank you for the excellent guide. I have tried creating several similar automations in Python. The biggest challenge is avoiding content repetition. I attempted to solve this by having GPT read the chapters cumulatively to build context. This approach made the flow between chapters smoother but did not completely eliminate repetition. Additionally, the book itself was very boring to read.
Hi Helena, thank you for the video it was full of valuable information. I was excited to try getting an ebook using your google form link but did get a book after waiting a hour.
I was thinking about adding this type of automation to my job board. By filling out a form, the candidate/job seeker will be able to generate a personalized draft of a CV and cover letter. This approach could work very well.
This is inspiration for personalization for just about anything text based. People pay more for personalization. The idea of a Google form plus AI to generate text of mostly any kind based on that form has almost unlimited potential. I’d go more educational or problem solving rather than fiction. Thanks for this!
Thank You Helena, You're amazing, but you did not show how you get the Email section under the Book automation can you please show us how did you insert it, Thanks
I was able to add it when I went to settings on the google form that you are creating and then click on responses. From there you follow the prompts. Good luck.
I've tried and the automation did a great job! Thanks Helena ;) In fact, it can be integrated also with images and a cover, but it's a great tool, can be used also as a starting point for things such as a lead magnet creation.
Thank you so much for the great video. But there is one problem. It works, but why only 6 chapters in set up a filter are executed, and the rest 1-5 chapters are not executed?
Great video. Very comprehensive and informative for those that use Make without having any control over ebook title/content since it is based on user input. I can see where this would be beneficial as an ebook creator that’s selling ebooks for clients but definitely would not want to generate a bunch without human guidance. So, it would be cool to use this as a personal form for my own input. Hmmm.., The amount one can generate from sales😂😂 is always subjective but you rock.
This is amazing. I tried your form out and it created an amazing ebook. I wonder if there is a way to personalize the ebook even more by having the person’s name added to the ebook somehow?
Hello, this video kind of addresses this, but not fully. Could you make a video where the form is an online assessment and based on the answers additional conditional fields appear and, at the end, a custom report is created and sent via PDF (or a link to download the PDF is created).
Thank you for the tutorial. Two days ago I thought your ebook generator didn't work because I tried twice and only the Google form receipts with no e-book were sent to my email box. I received the eBooks today (i.e. 2 days later). I'm sorry but I wonder why it doesn't feel like it was an automation when it took this long....
Hi Helena, I have tried and tried to get this to work and I just can't seem to get the description to work! The Title and the Chapters and reading level all work as the form input requires but I end up with an ebook with some random information that has nothing to do with the Description given. It is driving me crazy!! I have rebuilt it 5 times now. Appreciate any help you could offer.
Hi Helena, thank you for sharing such valuable information! Since this video was published two months ago, quite a few things have changed. I followed your process up to the final trigger, where I need to connect my Gmail, but I keep encountering error messages. Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve this?
i had to start from scratch over and over again while inputting the prompts from open ai... also, IF I ever get this figured out - how do you make the money? thanks
@David You save money by making books for yourself. Would you buy an eBook from me knowing it was generated by AI and I know nothing about the subject? BTW, the book she generated is only 6 pages long.
What Helena has shown us is no less than the most cutting-edge uses of AI Generation. With that being said, I run 3 24" screens (just upgraded from 2). This will help tremendously, because you will have much more room to work (can watch, create, and view all at once). You can sell your digital products on several platforms! :-)
In one of Nicolas Cole's video he claims, correctly, that writing books is the hardest way to make money as a writer. You are better writing short form content which pitches products or courses. I do love writing and love writing books and it's important to be happy. I just would prefer people motivated by money to understand this is not likely to lead where you want to go. Earth has 7 billion people living and exactly one JK Rowling, to give you an idea how difficult writing profitably is. How often do you buy books? How much of what you read do you pay for? Reading is already an opportunity cost, charging on top of it, well, it's possible, but it must be excellent.

Hi Helena, I generally really like your videos but this one is making an absurd claim. I write and sell ebooks for a living since years now. First, you have to consider your costs: you want to send out arcs, possibly paying several hundred for that to gather pre-release review. Then after launch, you will also have advertizing costs. Guess what, if you crank out a bad book with lousy cover you just wasted lots of money. Let me tell you the better way: write your book yourself and then if you feel your style sucks or are worried about grammar and spelling run it through ai. This doesn't lead to hyperbolic unrealistic claims but does lead to a steady modest income producing things actually worth reading. "Taming Dragons" is an example of this approach, that book a I wrote is fairly readable has a decent cover nice description and I use it as a free give away to attract readers to my other more marketable books which are basically soft core prn ok that last bits a joke but if you want to make money writing steamy romance is perennial (and not my genre).
you can also hire editor, hire cover designer (these are actually good ideas most people make bad covers) maybe run goodreads giveaways i.e. ads that are not on your platform. You can easily spend 3-5k marketing a book. So... it better be worth reading otherwise they will not and it's wasted $.
The book is tailored to an individual, not necessarily for resale purposes, I am assuming is the intention of this process. Even though she says make $1000 a week is basically saying you can make a $1000 a week for this process but not by reselling the actual book.

What if you are studying the Make platform in order to help your clients learn to use it or to create videos to help people learn more about what apps connect with it?
