i think the best civ in this mode is a civ which can build fast... your problems arent the resources, but the time everything needs to set up

@@Thunderdumpe Lacks late late game power, though. I think you want something with a huge amount of mobility and power in the end. Kinda obvious answer, but I'm thinking Mongols. You have a weak late mid game, but you are awesome in the early and late game, so you get up quick, make Scouts to establish presence, get up to Castle, make some Lancers to try to survive until you get a Castle up, go Imp, make Drill Siege Onagers w/ Elite Mangudai. That combo gives you power and speed.
Perhaps, but then building yet another barracks also isn't a problem. Resources can buy an army, and they can buy production speed. The only thing you can't get near infinite of is population space.
So this is what it must feel like to play using Mr. Yo’s massive economy.

Shouldn't the title be 90% cheaper or cost 10%? 10x cheaper doesn't make much sense unless there's already a discount at play
Units are 10 times cheaper than the normal. Feels right to me. 90% cheaper sound correct to me too.

"10 times cheaper" means there is already a discount and it has been multiplied by 10. just like how 10x civ bonus makes goth infantry almost free. so yes it should
@@wemijei i wonder if this is an issue for certain languages? In English, ten times cheaper is completely valid phrasing, which means one tenth of the normal price, aka 90% discount. it does not hint there is already a discount. it just means it is cheaper than usual.

my guess is he saw potential in making the most expensive unit (biggest total discount), which costs only one resource. maybe it had a tiny timing opportunity.
He's Aztecs. They kinda suck in this game mode. Pretty pop inefficient and their main advantage is eco, and who needs eco in this game mode. Spanish are just simply better.
I liked the forward monastery play in the end.
Saying something is 10% of cost, 90% cheaper, or 10x(10 times) cheaper all have the same idea: the price is divided by 10. Nothing wrong with the title

Make a age of empires but every unit cost 0,1 food per second. And if you don't have food 1 random unit will die and you get 5 food back.
I'd have gone for siege onager personally, but monks is fun for sure

Sicilian fast castle with serjeants spam and donjons everywhere, you can ignore any units and target the buildings to prevent the enemy from making a big army, if you target the houses could be even better
Another option could be persian douche and then you villfight, if you have fishing ships it's perfect

10x cheaper is literally 10% of the original cost. 1x cheaper is the same price.
If A costs 100 and B costs 50, B is 2x cheaper. So if B is 10, it's 10x cheaper...
