Dimash est déjà depuis deux ans mon chanteur préféré ! Que dire ? Un charisme incroyable , une voix encore jamais entendue venue d'une autre planète ! En tant que musicien je craque sur les arrangements , les mélodies , la prise de son . On est transportés , émotion et frissons sont a chaque foid au rendez-vous . Dimash un grand merci a toi d'exister !!!

I really enjoy your reactions to Dimash. Yes, there are probably more nuances that we've missed, but, in my opinion, one thing that sets Dimash apart from others, besides his impeccable voice, is his thoughtfulness! What other star would announce a younger sister's birthday? And did you notice at the end of his song, he put his finger to his lips to quiet their applause? The musicians hadn't finished, and he didn't want the audience's applause to interrupt 'their' ending! The more I see and learn about Dimash, the more I admire him!! Thanks. Keep up the good work.

This is Dimash’s fullest and most beautiful vocal arrangement of this mesmerizing Igor Krutoy work. I can’t get enough of it over all the other versions. Just the perfect blend of singing and vocal improvisation. It is so perfect to listen to, so rich, so satisfying, with nothing lacking.
Dimash always dresses with such class. That’s because he is all class! It’s so nice to see him dress this way. He’s so handsome and such a wonderful vocalist and human being. Love this song and really enjoyed your reaction!

What you’re talking about the melody and structure of the piece- it’s emphasized in Dimash’s performance of “Vocalise,” which is a version of “Know” from his concert that’s stripped down, performed without lyrics, and pretty much all improvised/scatting. It’s definitely worth reacting to!

If you look on his UA-cam channel he does a vocalise of this, its written in Cyrillic but he is wearing a black jacket with white wings. Go look for it you will love it. He has several performances of this song as a Vocalise and they are all different ❤

Really enjoyed your interpretation of the performance as a gesamtkunstwerk. You may also enjoy his vocalise performance of Know at the Arnau Tour concert in Kiev, where he does the jazzy scatting all the way through the performance from the beginning. It is amazing. It would be a perfect follow-up reaction to this one. There are numerous Know vocalise versions out on UA-cam, and each one has a different feel.
Know was originally written by Igor Krutoy for Lara Fabian as a lyric-less vocalise tune. Both Lara and Dimash use the chromatic theme as a canvas for improvisation. If you like dramatic performances, you should check out Lara Fabian as well. Best start with her signature song Je Suis Malade, but make sure to choose a video with English subtitles because the lyrics matter.

Thank you for the lovely, but at the same time observant and professional, reaction:) If you like the song that much (I love it), then indulge in more of the same/not quite the same: check the other versions. There is a MV for this song: beautiful, with stunning imagery supporting the theme of passion. The final treat is the live version of this song - known as "Ascolta la Voce". He sing it without word: improvising, doing tons of beautiful melismas, basically scat singing. He loves that song and performs it in pretty much all his live shows. The best version in my opinion (as well as lots of other Dears' opinion) is the one from his Kiev concert in March 2020. It is on his channel. Have a great journey:)

Now you need to do Know from Kiev , the Arnau concert, where he just vocalizes while sitting flat on his bum on the stage. It is very haunting and beautiful.

About two years ago I heard Dimash, and now I listen to him every day. I am happy that I live with him at the same time and can follow his work. I agree this performance is pure artistry. Admittedly, I have seen a different staging of Know, but this one is my preferred visual. Beautiful song, beautiful performance and beautiful soul. Lovely reaction. His sister is very sweet and has done a performance of All By Myself with Dimash. They also have a younger brother who has performed on Dombra with Dimash.

Thank you for yet another enthousiastic and knowledgeable reaction video. Never heard the meaning of the staging so well explained. There are many versions of this song on UA-cam. I always refer to it as the white suit/ no shirt / blue lady version. Niow I am tempted to replace no shirt by chest hair. Thank you for that detail. 🙃 Also grateful for promoting his UA-cam channel. It would mean the world to him if he could reach 1 million subscribers.
Dimash has a younger sister, Raushan. She also has a beautiful voice, but she does not feel comfortable on stage. There is a video of them doing a duet. She is studying to become a doctor. His younger brother Mansur was on stage in the New York concert last year where he and some other musicians accompanied Dimash on the dombra, a Kazakh string instrument.

That was the studio version of the song performed for television, there's many versions of the song where he sung live so I hope you get around to checking some of them out sometime :) one of them is Know in Kiev, which is on his channel
