    You start and then you get addicted. I am 31, started this year in February. Already lost 15kgs. And running is now the highlight of my day. I like to go around 5pm and use a headlamp. Never thought of running, I have a bad memory of almost dying when I was unfit doing X country in high school. But now I can run 5km without stopping and I feel amazing and skin is glowing. Will be lifelong for me now. Keep going man. And get involved in parkruns, great for motivation and very supportive community. Got a PB today at my local parkrun which is the hilliest in NSW so happy about that.

      That's really great to hear man, my new running shoes just arrived too so that'll incentivise me to actually go for more runs. But keep updating me on how you go! 🙌

    as someone who grew up never being able to run with asthma and strictly lifting weights, the more you train running, the better and easier it gets. i started very slow with interval training, now i run at 5 mph for 40 to 60 mintues every other day after 2 months of practice

    Try interval training, it prevents injuries when you are beginner. But also helps you train speed.

      How is interval training prevents injuries? interval training makes u prone to injuries because of high efforts output. For beginners, I would suggest to build the base.. run at a constant easy pace, either increase the timing or distance. this will build the endurance u need to go longer.. then you can slot in interval training, long run, tempo run, threshold run to increase your speed(higher pace) & endurance

      @@luqmanhakim8110 low intensity interval training is easier on joints so prevents knee injuries
