70-90+ BLUEFIN TUNA FOAMERS // 14' Livingston Boat

- Опубліковано 30 лип 2022
- This day took place about 2 months ago when the bluefin tuna were finally starting to come up the line. Our intentions were to go high speed troll at the 182 bank but we ran straight into bluefin tuna foamers on the 9 mile bank. All 3 bluefin tuna were hooked on a Tady 45 surface iron, my boss hooked a couple fish on the shimano orca floating stickbait. Some of the fish were pushing 70-100+ lbs.
The boat we fished on is a custom 14' Livingston boat. You can see more of it at @asalt_weapon_marine on instagram. - Спорт
Bluefin on the jig with a release - y’all are absolute legends!
Tell me you know how to fish foamers without telling me you know how to fish foamers 🤙🏼
Nice vid, thx for the tips I’ll use them soon
Livingston boats are the magic key to the sacred door.
Livingston boats are great for ocean. Very stable and safe. I have a 12 ft
Awesome video, Bryan. That's an epic trip on the Livingston 14. Thanks for sharing. Tight Lines!
I got a couple up north in half moon bay a couple years ago in a 17' tracker and everyone thought i was nuts. You guys rock!
Looks like an awesome trip. Great video as always!
Sick!!! Loved every minute of it!!!
Back at it again with a banger 🔥🔥
Grab the Jig and pull em in...No gaff required for an easy release! Well done!
Straight 🔥🔥GANGSTA🔥🔥no gaff on the BIG BFT 🤙🏼🤙🏼
Awesome stuff!
Fire video and on that little 14 footer! Good stuff
Rad video!! That 14’!
Sick vid Bryan! On the 14'! The rods are more than half the length of the boat 🤙
Clean boat!
Awesome day on the water!
Awesome vid. 👍🏼
Thats a bunch of hard work just to throw back a fish worth some money. But seriously nice catch and good sportsmanship.
Your vids are sick !
Respect! 🔥
Epic. Very impressive
Yes sir!! Can’t come soon enough…
I went to fishing the seagar hollow 50 on Torium 16 for smaller stick baits and 65 on Daiwa saltist 40 low gear for irons big baits worked great with short heavy leaders gave me more lime capacity just kicks your butt on long rods but so cool to get them on long rods
Very Kool video...
Nothen better then a hot bite on the boil, HOOK UP 👍🎣🎣
Nice vid
nice Truline bro!
“Oh god here we go again!” 😂😂😂
The stuff dreams are made of
So rad!! What surface iron and rod is that?
What type of reel and jig stick you using?
do u know if its good to keep the boat in motion while on the fish or can u just fish it straight down ?
Nice job Bryan! Was the resent?
The mini Freeman
Bro the 9 is hot, great video, was just there this weekend! Let me know when you're down to buddy boat, been hitting the water weekly
If you got room for one more. I'll split the cost.
how far offshore and what size tank that lil boat have ?
What blank is that brown one?
What performance numbers are you getting from that 60hp? cruise and top speed? MPG? thanks
I have the same boat in Corpus Christi, Tx.
How do those raptors cast? I was thinking of getting an ax with silk ocean for foamers and yt but don’t know how well they cast.
It’s just the regular MX 2 speed haha it casts pretty well actually I was surprised
Fuckin g! Always killing it Bryan!
What year is that Livingston?
It's amazing to me that you're on all these big tuna feeds close to shore and there isn't a single other boat around. When it goes off like this in the northeast you always have tons of company.
At the time this happened most people were still west and south more. We were heading to those same zones and ran across it on our way there, so it kind of slid past the fleet and found some bait.
@@BryanTimm Ah that's great! Love your videos, keeps the big fish energy high while I wait for the next weather window.
man i went out yesterday, i saw hundreds of dorado, dozens of yellowtail at paddies, and 50-180 lbs bluefin but they just wouldn't bite, so frustrating
Same, never seen such a trip. We were on the Apollo out of seaforth on a 2 day, same indifferent schools. So bizarre
Love your videos, what was your set up (rod, avet, and line)?
Sorry late reply. Truline d8 - avet mxl 2 speed - 60lb braid to casting distance of 50lb mono (the truline is stiff and i used to pull hooks fishing straight braid)
🎣🤙
Epic. What camera are you using?
Gopro 4 black lol
What braid to mono setup you running? I had too many times throwing into foamers with 40lb izor and getting sawed off midway of my top shot on the initial run
60lb to 50 mono top shot. This was a dedicated surface iron setup. Stickbait rod had 60 braid to short 60 leader.
How much drag did you get on that Mx?
Honestly not sure haha I was fishing 50 mono and just set it by hand
might be playing hooky on Wednesday because 9 mile was on fire
What surface iron u throwing
Tady 45
Did he nest out ha? “DAMNIT..FUCK!”
Ya haha
So sick!!! What reel and line combo was that?
Looked like a 2spd Avet with mono.. I was wondering the same thing.. ?
@@felixvargas4112 avet mxl 2 speed - 60 braid backing to casting distance of 50lb mono!
Eeeeeeeee!
Damn I should’ve taken my 16 foot whaler out.
The Guy in the Back couldnt catch 1?
He hooked a few but they fell off
he was also driving
@@ysmoose exactly. Which is why in other vids on my skiff you see my friends hanging fish more than me. Someones gotta drive tha boat haha
Would you be interested in selling the 14
Nt my boat. It is for sale. Contact mike lee from asaltweaponmarine on instagram
Went out last weekend, saw the same thing… they’re eating micro bait…not interested in irons
Rad video!! That 14’!
