    Funny, keeping it simple is a box with over 20 different lures. As you mentioned in the video, many lures are designed or colored to hook the Angler into buying them. The fish go more for the action then the color or pattern. Tight. Lines, Bryan!

      I as well had to learn this the hard way. Went from a broken back to 2 tackle trays on most days. I have an entire shelving unit full of crap still in boxs I said to myself well ill try that out. Never even opened the package and go right back to the stuff iv always used

      @@robdishjr4912 exactly! I always talk about this with my buddies. We have so many rods and how often do we use them? Not much lol I fish the same 2 rods like 90% of the time I fish. I have that wall of lures and also 5 of those dewalt boxes stashed away with even more stuff that probably won’t ever see the light of day. It’s mostly “what if’s” lures haha which is like 75% of whats in my box still so technically I could just take a few yoyo jigs and surface iron and some hooks and weights and be set. But these days you never know whats gonna pop up inshore so I wanna be ready if that miracle happens 😂

      @@BryanTimm shoot u aint lien brotha. I probably own 18 to 20 rod and reel combos from offshore boat for grouper and snapper to inshore and bass gear. When I inshore fish I take the same 3 rods everytime. I prob have 10 inshore combos and half of them have never touched the boat or docks I fish. Lol. My old man used to always stand in the tackle store while I had my hands full and say son these things catch more fisherman than they do fish. Well he wernt wrong either lol. He taught me quickly u have to have confidence in what your throwing and the colors don't matter if u get it right in their faces. Finding the feeding fish is what's important not what color the jig or plastic is. I used to bring 100 different color combos in soft plastic totes full of bags of plastics and always ended up fishing nothing but the salt strong slam shadys and zman beer runs. They work beautifully in any water clarity. When I have tough days I don't switch to a bunch of colors I go straight to the paul brown fat boy or any mirrolure mirrodine. Them suckers catch so many different fish. My dad only throws the same lures bass fishing and the same ones when we are inshore. It always works and he outfishes me while I'm standing there with my hands full of different profiles and colors confusing myself lol. I still to this day will outthink myself at times and bring too much especially if I'm fishing a new area or on like a vacation and sont know the waters. Pops and wife will be like u don't need all that crap. An hour later is hey do u have a 2 ounce egg sinker I can use lol

    I have 12 backpacks and 5 duffle bags and I can’t seem to find a way to compress it. Spotty, largie, striper, trout lake, trout troll. Wall calico, island calico, squid bed, chovie. My tuna duffle weighs 50lbs. Geeze!!

    You should do a Sd bay video spotties and Hali

    • @BryanTimm
      @BryanTimm  6 місяців тому +1

      The only problem with SD bay is if I’m gonna tow down there, I’d rather go fish the coast and look for yellows/hali/bass etc… not that the bay isn’t fun it’s just a lot of work to tow down there to fish the bay. Would love to have a small 12’ skiff or something strictly for the bays because I absolutely love fishing the bay.

      @@socalfishincrew5410 Yup! I have an SD bay video from like a year or two ago with Eric Risen. I'm gonna start fishing the lagoons up in North County more often again and also be fishing the surf quite a bit too.

      Water sealed. Keeps sand out, moisture, etc… good for kayaks or if you’re on a skiff that rides wet

      @BryanTimm  4 місяці тому +1

      You cant go wrong with the 14x40 fujinon technostabi’s … above anything else you buy if you have a skiff - these stabilized bino’s will help you find fish wayyyy faster. Most used thing on my skiff besides my fish finder
