An absolutely first class singer and such a beautiful woman and human being. I was on tour with her in the mid 90's when I was a double bass player in Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. She was so sweet and "down to earth", took time to speak with us musicians at rehearsal breaks, before and after concerts and at the hotel. Many years after, she sang at a concert in my home town (not Gothenburg), which I attended. After the concert, I had the opportunity to speak with her a bit.

Just wonderful. A rare singer in her artistic maturity. I especially love the characterization, even during the long musical interludes. And she is quite free with the colors, darkening when appropriate and also displaying a gorgeous chest voice that she was careful about earlier when she focused on girlish opera roles. She sounds so fresh after what had already been more than 20 years in the limelight.

I don't know how to explain this but the page turner looks like the year 2002 personified

Why the pianist didn’t purchase the original scores ? Play with the copy sheets is not so professional

Sometimes they make copies because they are easier to manage with the page turns

Every score is a copy when you think about it

Please be careful and watch the introduction! Barbara choose in some of the songs to sing the version for lower voice. Those were copied so they could be inserted between the high voice edition songs

There always has to be that one "expert" in every group discussion, apparently. 😔

Warum singt sie immer Os statt As? und "kling-Gen" statt "klingen"? Hatte sie keine_n Sprachtutor_in?

Tight, controlled voice. Quite out of tune
