    What I remember of this system and it's origin...Known as Jail House Rock/Slap Boxing, and practised in the Prison system SUPPOSEDLY started in NYC,some say COMY-FORNIA, and used to fight/Game so the guards DIDN'T know if it was a real fight or just fooling around, like Brazilians did with hiding Capuera from the Spaniards ...
    I learned some of it in Junior Hi in the mid 70's from a friend who's brother I think went to do some vacationing time with the state. In my later years and 32 years of martial arts and security that included state prison system and county, I never seen it used...
    P.S.
    I was a Gaurd/Deputy not on a state vacation...

    Good points bro, and I was able to play in a circle ⭕️ with a college club in Buffalo called Capoeira Mandinga. When I asked once what that meant, I think that deception is what that translated to.

    That flow drill is also a downward parry and a strike over the attacking limb. Uppercut that can turn into a devastating hook.
    It's also a downward elbow to any area of the attacking arm up to the head depending on your position.
    52 looks exactly like the flow drills we did learning southeast Asia's combat style.
    Makes sense all things considered.

    To add onto what you’re saying(lil late to the party ik lmao), a lot of people forget the layering that comes with using techniques;
    like how a jab can be an easy read but set it up with a straight then it can land it and vice versa

      all styles have their physical limits, but you can still use concepts from a style and apply it outside the style. with that said i could in theory use 52 concepts but it may or may not look like 52 at that point. saying all that it really just depends on the context and the fighter im against.

    If you want to make videos with a mobile phone, then please put it into landscape mode. In portrait mode: they are simply unwatchable.

      @@OnaOmiMovement Perhaps you should once watch your videos. Half your arms and half of your body is outside of the camera view.
      If you do not like a hint from a fellow martial artist: UP TO YOU!!
