I worked out with Lyte Burly for a couple of weeks at the Washington Square park. I also got a couple of his DVDs. This is not all of the first 10 blocks.

    • @OnaOmiMovement

@@davidweinstein4583 i wasn’t even going to respond to this but i get tired of you casual with ungrounded opinions. 1st off what you stated doesn’t mean anything to me, it doesn’t make you an expert or authority or even an actual student, you are just name dropping. 2nd i can literally say the same. I have worked with the good brother and i also have his dvds. He has also given me the name burly very recently, and ive have his respect and blessing on how I approach 52. 3rd, brother burly is a pioneer and one of the go toos when it comes to 52, but he didn’t invent the art and neither did i. saying that, there is no pedagogical standard. If you really understand the art, you’d understand that we are in the early development stages of forming schools and styles. Much like capoeira during the time of bimba and pastinha. The way he teaches the art is different from me bc we have are own personality and perspectives. I teach everything he teaches but im not his clone. This ain’t karate, these ain’t katas. if you took the time to look at my videos you would see what i am doing here conceptually and pedagogically, this was years ago and ive since updated the way i convey this. Lastly if you still got a problem with it come to texas and ill show you better than i can tell you.

@OnaOmiMovement I was raised in various projects. I've lived in some dangerous cities. I've trained in the arts, took on all comers in no holds barred fights. Had too many street fights and sent people to the E.R and a couple of times, I was sent to the E.R. I have stitches instead of trophies, I know what it feels like to bleed from street fights. People who know me would tell you I'm not the one to f**k with. When you've bled and have drawn blood in street fights, you will understand.
