Ooh I hope you both react to Day6 more. They're not only great singers and instrumentalists but they're awesome storytellers too. It's worth having the cc on them As for fan favorites, here are some of them: Congratulations, You Were Beautiful, Zombie, and I Need Somebody.
Please react to more Xdinary Heroes!!! They are so creative and talented and they never stuck to just one genre! I recommend their new title track Break the Brake! It would be cool if you could also react to some live performances ❤
some day6 song reccomendations that i feel like you would really enjoy ^^ Upbeat: Congratulations, shoot me, days gone by, time of our life and love me or leave me Melodic & emotional: You Were Beautiful, Zombie, Letting go, When you love someone and I Need Somebody
Yo, I love dust in the wind, and I love lucy!!!!! Thanks for the reaction. I adore kbands and would totally love a part two with more from each of these bands. LUCY I LOVE YOU!!!!
the real K-Rock band would be F.T. Island which i was hoping you would include them... FNC Entertainment is an agency that produces well known K-Bands like F.T. Island, CNBLUE, and N.Flying. They are just debuting a new band called Hi-Fi Un!corn (do check them out cuz their songs are great). if you're unfamiliar with FNC Ent.; SF9, P1Harmony and Cherry Bullets are also under this company. thank you for this reaction, i'm happy that you included Day6 and Lucy!
I second all the recommendations for their latest title track Break The Break, especially since he pointed out the drumming a couple times in Happy Death Day. The double pedal in Break The Break is absolutely killer. Fun fact their drummer and leader Gunil moved to the US in middle school and actually went to Berklee College of Music, one of the top 5 music schools here. He had a youtube channel where he did drum covers, JYP was looking to start a new band project as the members of Day6 were preparing for their military services and solo careers. Someone on their team found his yt videos and DMd him to offer an audition while Day6 was on tour in Boston. He went to the hotel they were staying at after class, played on a drum kit they set up for him, and the rest is history. Adorable bonus: one of XH's guitarists Gaon was actually a subscriber and fan of Gunil's yt channel, so when they met as trainees at JYP he felt like he was meeting a celebrity already lol. Also if he wants to really hear their vocals, show him Strawberry Cake, Pirates, Good Enough, Dear H, Pluto, and Paranoid. For Good Enough, there is a music video but I'd actually recommend the live performance they did for the channel Hello82 instead, and Pluto also has a performance video but their live set for NPOP was absolutely incredible. I love that he said he wants to go see them live!! And he absolutely should if they make it across the pond for tour next year. No dates yet, but hopefully theyll announce that soon. They're currently on tour in Europe and all the footage from their shows has been crushingly good, like I'm devastated that I can't be there bc they're insane live. And the crowds have been so fun, singing along to pretty much every song, super high energy but still respectful. In Madrid there wasn't even a barricade between the audience and stage, just a line of tape on the floor and some signs taped to the stage that said "no touching", but no one crossed the line at all and security never had to lift a finger. I saw this post on twitter about a Villain (their fandom name, most metal ass fandom name ever lol) who brought her 72 yo father to the show with her, he's been listening to XH since their debut and even brought his own lightstick. She asked the venue if there was somewhere he could sit bc she knew he wouldn't be able to stand for the entire show, and some of the XH staff got him a seat on the balcony right next to them so he could safely watch the show. It just goes to show that there is no age limit to fandom and good music is timeless.
Oh, and the members of XH are really close to their Day6 seniors. Day6's bassist Young K has them on his radio show almost every other week, surprised them backstage at a one of their music show stops in this last comeback, and he helped Gunil write Good Enough (which is based on a poem Gunil wrote in college while nursing a broken heart, tho he hasn't elaborated on the details of that heartbreak), Day6's leader Sungjin had XH's bassist/lead vocalist Jooyeon on his youtube series recently, and several of the Day6 members went to XH's shows in Seoul a couple weeks ago to show thier support as they started their tour. It's just really cool to see an experienced, accomplished band be such good mentors and cheerleaders.
@@pratfallpratt8998 Ooooh, ty for all the extra info! That's really cool that he went to Berklee, like, super cool!! And I do really like how the 2 groups have good ties with one another. It must be nice for them!! -Lilith💕
I'm glad you had fun! They must be really cool to see live! And yeah we'll totally add them to our list! I'm kinda surprised we haven't covered them (though I can probably say that about a lot of groups lol) -Lilith💕
We didn't forget them we promise! >< We have a video with them in it (2 separate videos) and do keep them in mind whenever we consider doing another k-bands video! :3 -Lilith💕
The Rose is amazing! Please try Alive next! I love your Dad's reaction, but the Rose is so eclectic, I think he will like them, but they seriously have no skips and no repeats.
so happy hear your dad like xdinary heroes! and he gives an excellent analysis! I have a feeling you dad is gonna like a lot the following songs: pirates, strawberry cake, pluto or again again. I love all xdinary heroes songs, the mvs song are so energetic and good but those 4 are truly outstanding! Good enough is awesome slow song as well as dear H; both are beautiful. All the songs i mention you can see how well they sing!
It's so sad that putting FTIsland into this thing would be kind of controversial due to the Burning Sun thing. But really? No Rolling Quartz? There's also AleXa's rock cover of her own song "Bomb." That one's worth checking out. EDIT: there's also Nell, basically K-Britpop. Dunno if you've listened to them already but you'll probably know what I mean when you have.
Oh, and for female-fronted bands, there's verycoybunny and The Volunteers (the one with Baek Yerin in it). I actually have more Korean bands in my normal-ish rock playlist since the Japanese ones Inlisten to tend to be weird in some ways, either math-rocky (Tricot and Gesu no Kiwami Otome), folk-ish (Wagakki), or prog-metal (Alhambra). I guess Band-Maid sounds quite normal but their outfits
I love Rolling Quartz we didn't forget them I promise!!😭😭 We definitely plan on having a video with them in it! "Reacting to K-bands" would've probably been a more accurate title (but both titles work tbh) since we wanted to find K-bands specifically, hence why no rock covers of existing songs were here! But reacting to rock covers does seem fun to do! :D -Lilith💕
And if you want more rock bands (not idol bands), I recommend Hyukoh (Wanli, Die alone, Citizen Cane), Nell (Cliff parade, Vain hope and soooo many other gems!), Guckkasten (Montage, Manicure, Mirror, Pulse...!)

Songs like "I need somebody" are so full of emotion, I'd love to see you react to it! Same with the Rose (saw them live too a few years ago. Lucky kpop stan here). I love the new album but I'll always have a soft spot for their debut "Sorry"! Those Woosung vocals hit hard!! Now Sweet sweet Lucy! (Nope I haven't seen them live. Yet!) I recommend "never in vain", "fill it up", and one their most beautiful: "Flare" 😍
@magiceca I'll cross fingers for both of us! 🤞🤞 C'mon we want a world tour! I'm in Europe and many groups are coming here right now so I hope for some Lucy soon! I want to see Never in Vain live! All the videos I see of that performance look so cool! 😍

Show Dad Xdinarys versatility with Good Enough. He said they could sing, he's not wrong.
