Henry Tuilagi, only played a handful of Tests for the Manu. But he definitely left his mark, Springbok legends still recounting the day they played against him. High praise indeed
Sebastian Chabal was an animal… a fearless beast. But u can tell he was a little hesitant with Henry Tuilagi. Not often did an opposing player have an overwhelming strength advantage over Chabal the way H Tuilagi did.
@@chickentwisties2298 I don't know why they are listing him at 196cm 156kg on wiki 😆 That's definitely wrong. I'm looking at a photo of him compared to his brothers and he's shorter than Manu Tuilagi and Manu is 185cm (and i've checked Manu's height compared to other players and it checks out)
@@Waywind420I’ve seen the brothers in person didn’t speak to them but Henry definitely taller then Manu lol I’ve seen manu and Henry next to each other having a beer Henry about 6’1/6’2 manu is bang on 6’0.
Just to give you a little example of the terror he reigned, not by wickedness but by his physical impact is that when he played for Perpignan, in training no player wanted to be in the team opposite and everyone wanted to be with Henry....
Two great players ball in hands. My biggest regret is that Bernard Laporte was such a one-trick pony of a coach that he never asked anything else from Chabal and Bastareaud than throwing themselves head first into a defensive wall when both Chabal and Bastareaud had proven to be a lot more capable than being impact players. Chabal was a fantastic off-loader the year of the title at Sale Sharks under Saint-Andre and I remember Bastareaud during one of his first caps against Wales showing a remarkable quality with the place kicking. He had the skills to bring variation to his game and move the ball to the wing a lot more than he did during his entire career. Had Laporte become a pimp who get beat up by his hookers like he was destined to instead of a rugby coach, Chabal would have played at 8 exclusively with a far more interesting approach to the game, especially when you consider he was surrounded by classy backs in Heymans, Clerc, Rougerie, Jauzion, Medard, etc. Laporte ruined a decade of French international rugby because he had no vision, no coaching skills, no tactical awareness, no game plan. Guy Noves should have had 8 years at the helm of the French XV as the most successful French coach, Bernard Laporte should have had his French citizenship revoked for high treason and for being a shit scrum-half and a shit coach.
Completely disagree. Laporte was an outstanding coach. He won everywhere he went (Gaillac, Begles, Stade Francais, Toulon, and in 2003 had it not been for the rain in Sydney, I keep feeling we would have gone till the end as we were thrashing everybody in our path). Galthie and Ibañez include him to all their victories since he has been forced out by that stupid minister. Chabal was very good, but atypical and another issue is he was not lasting a full game due to his puncher physiology, which made him hard to cast outside of an impact player. Agreed he was a much better 8 and towards the end delivered more solid performances. However Laporte was not at fault, Lievremont decided to punish him for the Italy defeat and did not take him to the 2011 world cup squad.
Chabal is a "one-in-a-million" Tuilagi on the other hand, there’s a whole "Village" of them back home #Samoa😁 #bornandbreedforphysicalencounters Pukana, Blahhh,,😝😜😛
Don't know why Chabal always ends up in these comparison videos, it hurts his image more that anything. He is famous and iconic for his image, "the caveman", but his game was not based on pure power like Tuilagi. He was never one of the very best players in the world either, just very good and iconic.
😂😂 Thanks for the support my uso! Not alot of people seen these hidden gems of henry tuilagi so had to do one lol.. Lemme know if u got any ideas of players i should do uce
Uce honestly just Tuilagi videos vs anybody lol they just build different that’s why everytime you make videos about them they get more attention bc ppl like watching big ass Samoans crushing dudes 😂💯
This vid just proves how strong Henry is, taking on a beast like chabal and made him look like a little guy lol The uso was blessed with that type of power and size. Please drop more Henry Tuilagi highlights. Finally some new clips of him lol
I think the Tuilagi brothers are the most natural build in the pacific when comes to sports. They are the most aggressive ball runner in rugby and so powerful. When my Uso run straight to you, you gonna be full alert cos wen he hit you i will feel sorry 4 you. Next time get the wooden box ready for you if he run to you. Ha ha ha. Go use.
Henry Tuilagi running straight at you full pelt.. No Thank you. Id take Chabal every day of the week over that. Having to face an opponent every week.. I'd take Tuilagi. While he was strong and powerful he was actually a rather clumsy player. Chabal was the complete package. A far more complete player
Could you imagine Chabal and Tuilagi in the NFL. They would probably play without helmets, pads and still be dangerous and unstoppable. The NFL would have to ban them both for the safety of the other NFL players.
Henry was stronger but was there someone else stronger than him during those times ? Chabal did well against Henry, good tackle at 02:25. And regarding Jerry Collins, Chabal ate Jerry Collin's tackle like it was nothing to be honest.

You are not ready for his son Posolo Tuilagi, Rugby world is not ready ! xD
Schakk Burger a dit que le seul joueur qui lui faisait peur c'était Henri Tuilagi
2 legends, Chabal is so fast and brutal, but damn Tuilagi is just the Power himself
Chabal suck !
Henry was the scariest man on the field but the nicest man off it 😊
Henry is just a damn brute force man..
You know Henry Tuilagi was a bad man when the Springboks forward pack were even wary of his size and presence lol.
Chabal was more versatile, refined, maybe quicker and more skillful ...but Tuilagi was far more powerful .
chabal suck !
Haha, Henry was quicker by definition if he was more powerful. And he definitely was quicker.
And a much bigger more physical man then Chabal

Chabal was a beast, but you can tell how scared he is of Henry. But they both good sportsmen 🔥💯
Sole, no one will stand in front of the Polynesian train, so big unit powerful and Dangerous. Bring it on jabal.
Only way to tackle Henry is around the lower legs...and even that is hard to pull off...He will bump you into your next life if you go high
Pour avoir eu la chance de l'avoir Vu jouer Tuilagi chez nous à l'USAP c'était vraiment impressionnant. Il faisait beaucoup d'en avant
