I bought the rack on Amazon not even realizing my air fryer is too small! I solved that problem quickly by going right to QVC and ordering the same size air fryer you used in this video! A birthday present to myself!

    OMG Doug...
I went back today & cooked my eggs per YOUR instructions except I wanted to push the 12 min mark to see what happens & I prefer my yolks firmer than you prefer yours. I put my eggs on the egg trivet & sat the temp at 250 & then I cooked for 15 min. My egg came out PERFECT for me. The IMPORTANT part is to not cook above 250 or you risk the egg exploding. The shell practically fell off the egg once I got it started. Next time I'm going to test cooking for 14 min & then work my way down until I hit my sweet spot. BTW, that egg trivet comes in really handy for cooking meats because as you pointed out, it gets everything closer to the burner. I cooked one wicked rib eye steak on the egg trivet. This trivet works double duty since it works great in the AF & also in the IP. THANK YOU AGAIN for all your hard work!!!

Hard eggs are one of my favorite things to make in the air fryer. Much better than for me than boiling on a stove. I learned how from this video. This has to be my favorite video, simple yet life changing. I'll never go back to the old way. :) For the giveaway tonight/this morning, I'd like a meat thermometer. Mine is so old, it's now officially considered a dinosaur. LOL :D

So, a couple thoughts on hard cooking eggs.
Most people say to place eggs in bowl of cold water to stop cooking. (?)
I'm basically a lazy, adult male.
Why dirty another dish that needs to be washed?
Cook eggs for 14 minutes at 250º F (I like my eggs a little more done.), pull out the basket and let them cool down naturally. Around 30 to 45 minutes.
    No water involved.
I just tried this and the eggs couldn't have come out any better.
Easy to peel and as a bonus, still warm on the inside. Yum!
    A final thought.
The first time I cooked eggs in an air fryer, out of 6 eggs, one wasn't cooked. Slimy white when peeled and the yolk wasn't cooked.
It took me a while to figure out what happened.
If you place a parchment in the bottom of the basket. Make sure all the legs on the trivet are holding down the paper.
Apparently, one edge of the parchment was able to get sucked up and it protected the one egg from getting enough heat.
    The five others were fine.
Having done this a few times now, I'm now confident the eggs won't explode and stopped using the parchment.

12 minutes should be okay.. just let the egg set for a couple of minutes to finish internal cooking. Might be safer than over cooking them.

    Hi Doug...
i kept putting off cooking my eggs in my air fryer simply because Doug hasn't posted a video on it so it must be impossible..WRONG...
As an FYI, I did try eggs this past Sunday & everything went fine for me UNTIL the 13 minute mark. That's when one exploded. I repeated the process & once again when I hit the 13 min mark, one exploded. obviously that hasn't been everyone's experience; but, I just wanted to share my experience.
